So how do we revive the Nintendo franchise? It’s simple: Nintendo has to care about the game first.

Despite the Pikmin 3 Deluxe Edition release in 2020, the game wasn’t exactly a blockbuster hit. Yet, how could the game reach that status? The 2020 game was only a re-release of the 2013 game with updated features. Hardly, even die-heart Pikmin fans wouldn’t be interested in that.
Clearly, Pikmin will need more than seven-year-old updates to grab gamers’ attention again. To bring back this Nintendo Franchise, Pikmin must embrace what brought them to the dance in the first place – being a great strategy puzzle game. And who doesn’t like puzzles? With the trend of Escape Room type games lately, surely, Pikmin can make clever game designs to attract fans’ attention again.

And who’s the next best Smash Bros. character to give respect to? The beloved Capture Falcon. It hurts to say that F-Zero will have to join the list of underrated Nintendo franchises. With no mention of any news on new F-Zero games, you’d have to wonder if Nintendo dropped the ball on another Nintendo icon.
You know? If Captain Falcon’s popularity waned, his lack of spotlight would make sense. Yet, the Captain’s brand recognition could be put on par with Mario Kart in the world of racing franchises if this underrated Nintendo franchise were given even the smallest form of attention.
