Play Like Never Before. PlayStation has been with us since 1994 and has evolved into more hearts worldwide. If you like to play, the PlayStation is worth investing in for your household and friends. Once you have it, you will have all the big-name AAA video games to make memories. You buy one, plug it in, power it on, select a game, and discover the only reason to exist. Do and you will never be the same again, connecting with new friends, taking down evil as the God of War, living as an outlaw in 1899 America after a robbery goes terribly wrong, dropping from a bus and being the last standing, or answer the Call of Duty and more.
PlayStation always has New Ways to Play
PlayStation, a gaming giant since 1994, has sold over 100 million consoles, each one better than the last. From the initial release to the current PlayStation 5, the evolution of these consoles has brought us together, one game at a time.
Every console is better than the one before and offers new and existing games. The console lords have been kind to keep the tradition going for us, as they have announced that the PlayStation 5 Pro model will be coming out later this year.
The 5 Pro model, codenamed Trinity, will come with a more powerful GPU and faster CPU mode. Depending on the title, it will hit higher resolutions with a faster frame rate. According to a document, the PS5 Pro should be “about 45 percent faster than standard PlayStation 5.”
What’s the Next Console going to be
Its improved GPU and CPU will be the same as the PS5 but have a new mode that makes it faster: “Trinity has a mode that targets 3.85 GHz CPU frequency,” the Sony developer document states. That is about a 10 percent improvement over the PS5.
It is also promised to have slightly better power efficiency and 28 percent improved memory. With upscaled frame rates and image quality, all they have to do is make sure the games are ready, and we should be all set for the holiday season release.
That isn’t all, as PlayStation has been looking ahead to developing its next console, which is rumored to keep up the naming tradition to be the PlayStation 6. An official Microsoft court document gives the biggest clue on when we could expect points to 2027.
When will we know more about the PlayStation 6
We also have a clue from the previous release consoles and life spans before the next generation comes out. The PS4 was with us for seven years before we had the PS5 came out. It was the same with the PS3, which was out for seven years until the next generation console was released. Keeping with that pattern, we can expect the traditional launch of the PS5, which came in 2020, and we are forecasting the next one to come to us in 2027.
We can only guess at most of its details as we haven’t seen any specs, pricing, backward compatibility, cross-generational games, storage, SSD, resolution, frame rate, or more.
No matter what PlayStation has in store for us, we can be confident that they will keep up with the powerful hardware, ray tracing technology, community and social possibilities, entertainment opportunities, PlayStation Plus, stunning visuals, exclusive titles, virtual reality, SSD expansion, accessibility and all-inclusive way to play.
PlayStation, it’s the way to play.
