Hogwarts Legacy Brings the Magic to You
You’re a wizard, and you are invited to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Being a witch or wizard, you will mean more to the world than you will know and there is something that you have to have. Money! Hogwarts Legacy brings the wizarding world to you!
It allows you to roam the castle, learn spells and potions in the hopes of not being caught, turn a school bully who won’t leave you alone into a ferret, and bounce him off the ground with each syllable of your reprimanding him. To get all your accessories for your wizarding, you will need Galleons. Short of casting a summoning charm (Accio), here are a few hints and tricks to help fill your Gringotts vault.
Being a Wizard, You Will Need Big Bucks
A lot of the best gear in the game requires Galleons and a lot of them. You also may prefer to purchase potion ingredients rather than forage for them. Not to mention, you can buy spell crafts and recipes to add to your room of requirement. The first tip for gaining Galleons is selling gear and items you don’t want. You can only hold and carry so much with limited slots, especially starting out. Rather than discarding them, take a moment to sell what you don’t need. It’s a great way to earn Galleons.
Once you have completed Merlin Trials, you gain additional inventory slots. As you progress in the game, you will come across more chests and loot enemies you have taken out. It’s just money lying around to be picked up and spent. A little further in the game, you will have the chance to rescue and catch an assortment of animals from all around the castle. When rescuing them, you are rewarded, and it isn’t something to be passed up. Just talk to Deek, the House elf, and you will be on your way.
Once you have the animal, you can take it to your room of requirement or sell it to Brood and Peck in Hogsmeade. If you want to invest a little in the long-term Galleon making, you can breed them and sell the offspring. This takes time, but it is worth it for more Galleons in Hogwarts Legacy.
Flying is Expensive Unless you Have a Hippogriff
The biggest Galleon maker in Hogwarts Legacy is the one-eyed chest. This isn’t easy. As you play, you pick up what you can or catch them. You will need to search around for them. They are large chests that have a single eye on top of them. The trick to opening them is to cast your Disillusionment Charm and creep up to open it. If you are quiet and quick enough, each one has a nice pile of Galleons just waiting for you.
Hogwarts Legacy is a spectacular open-world game that places you in what Harry Potter will experience when he goes to school. Your spellcasting skills will be the only way to learn more about what is going on around you. Soak up as many Galleons as you can and spend them well to live the life that only Muggles can dream about.
