The Cluster for The ‘Huntsman’ Creature Feature Series Is Complete and Waiting to Strike!

The most recent trailer from OnTheHouse Studios and Ten Imaging for the Huntsman Creature Feature is out, and it is nasty in the best way possible! Coming in as the chief resident in the Experimental BioSolutions Division of Atherton Labs, we have the mighty Tarantula spinning its webs! With that, the quartet is assembled and ready to hunt y’all down on November 27th!

Episode 1: The Huntsman

Let’s recap what we were given a chance to play with in the Huntsman demo. The Huntsman Spider is the main baddie of Episode One of the Creature Feature series. It’s fast and uses sound to find its prey, so you need to move slowly and steadily. There is no such thing as a “safe distance” because that arachnid can practically teleport if it hears you sprint. And it’s always going to be scary every single time you hear the rumble of those legs for you.

Episode Two: The Orb Weaver

Episode Two introduces us to the Orb Weaver, a smaller and more vibrantly colored spider that likes to hang around. That wasn’t a cute set of facts, y’all. A rule of thumb, at least in nature, if it’s tiny and dressed in bright hues, it’s assumed to be very dangerous and extremely deadly. You need to keep your body low and look up if you want to avoid this ceiling crawler. If you don’t, you’re going to be joining that aerial bandit on the ceiling.

Episode 3: The Trapdoor Spider

What’s worse than a spider that snatches you from above? How about one that springs up and drags you down under? I introduce to y’all, the Trapdoor Spider, a delightful addition to the facility. Just like the name suggests, this hairy hunter digs a burrow and lies in wait for anyone careless enough to walk by its door. Before you know it, you’re hooked and being dragged down into its home for dinner. Keep your eyes sharp for any discrepancies in the ground because they may be more than lousy brink work.

Episode 4: The Tarantula

Last, but certainly not least, we come to the iconic “king of all the spiders” (if you’re thinking about size, that is). The Cuban Bronze Tarantula ain’t here to play. An aggressive species that is very territorial because it loves to decorate any space with its silk. And you thought they were big in their actual size. It’s a huge sprinter with a nasty temper if you touch its webbing. This invasive interior designer will take it very personally if you mess around with its drapes.

Survival 101: Slow Movements, Distractions, and A Whole Lotta Luck

In Huntsman, as the only security guard on the graveyard shift in Atherton Labs’ Experimental BioSolutions Division, the whole cluster will hunt with their unique methods; therefore, you need to use that knowledge to your advantage. Moving slowly throughout the Atherton facility will prevent literal run-ins, whether with the spider or its web. Objects can be used to misdirect the spiders away from your path or hiding spot. If you can go around areas that harbor any of the arachnids, don’t try to “Leroy-Jenkins” it!

Final Thoughts: Man vs Arachnid, Can You Survive!?!

The demo alone from developers is just a small appetizer before the buffet, but the people are still begging for more. The community around the Huntsman Creature Feature series is screaming with hysterical delight and terror because of only one spider. Now we have four total. The Huntsman Creature Feature series will break out of containment on Nov. 27th! Let’s hope you keep your cool and don’t sweat too much because they’ll smell your fear if you do.
