Amazon Prime free games December 2025

Free Games! On Amazon Prime Gaming – December 1, 2025

December is here and it’s time for more free games from Amazon Prime’s Luna! In between shopping for gifts and making holiday travel plans, you may need to wind down and there’s a lot to add to your gaming libraries.

This month, we’re being treated to a dozen new titles in addition to several that carried over from last month. The games are available on several platforms, including Amazon Luna, Good Old Games (GOG), Epic Games Store, and Legacy Games. So get ready for some classic gaming and more!

On Amazon Luna

Free games from Amazon Luna can be downloaded and played from the Amazon Games app. There is one new title from their platform, and it is compatible with PC only.

Available through Jan 14, 2026

Dark City: Kyiv is your typical point-and-click adventure where you’ll engage in hidden objects and other puzzles to solve the mystery. You take on the role of a detective dealing with dark secrets, paranormal happenings, and supernatural residents.

Epic Games Store

Once you link your Amazon Prime and Epic Games Store accounts, claiming these games is a piece of cake. There are four titles available from the Epic Games Store this month. And, Mac users rejoice, two of them are Mac-compatible.

PlateUp!

Available through Dec 24, 2025

PlateUp! is a restaurant sim you can play alone or with friends! It has a pretty simple graphic style. The restaurant staff and guests are all faceless human-shaped blobs. At least that’s how I see it. Anywho, if you like a restaurant sim or want to run a restaurant with friends, this might be for you!

New Tales from the Borderlands

Available through Feb 4, 2026

In this spinoff from the Borderlands series, play as Anu, Octavio, and Fran as these “loveable losers” try to change (and maybe save) the world. It’s a cinematic narrative-driven adventure, rated Mature 17+, in a setting that many are already familiar with.

Gas Station Simulator

Available through Jan 7, 2026

For PC and Mac, this is your opportunity to restore an abandoned gas station then expand its services, serve customers, and customize the business.

Lovecraft’s Untold Stories

Available through Dec 10, 2025

PC and Mac users, snag this one quick! It’s going soon! Described as an “action roguelite with RPG elements,” Lovecraft’s Untold Stories has you fighting your way through randomly generated levels full of monsters, puzzles, and more. You can choose from five characters (private detective, witch, thief, professor, or ghoul) with different styles and stories.

Legacy Games

Legacy Games titles require their own game launcher. Claiming the games is simple. You’ll just need to enter your email address and the game code on the claim page. Follow the instructions on the claim page.

Big Adventure: Trip to Europe 6 – CE

Available through Dec 30, 2025

Big Adventure: Trip to Europe 6 is a point-and-click adventure exploring various settings in Europe that are styled for Christmas. This looks like a typical game with hidden objects and puzzle levels. One thing of note is this game’s very odd use of photos. They’ve pieced together pictures of buildings, objects and even people to create scenes. At the very least, you should go look at it. It’s… interesting.

Good Old Games

The six remaining free titles are all from GOG.com, and although most are PC-only, two are also available for Mac. To claim these games, you’ll grab the claim code and enter it in the GoG app on your computer.

Gunslugs

Available through Feb 24, 2026

This odd-sounding game pits heroes against the “evil Black Duck Army.” It’s procedurally generated levels are the setting for the single-life “roguelike permadeath system.” And you’ll get to use things like a chicken gun, tanks, and jetpack.

Dream Tactics

Available through Dec 24, 2025

Dream Tactics is a turn-based strategy RPG with card elements. Create a party and fight against pillows (that’s right, pillows) to “save the Dream World from its imminent collapse.” The adorable classic 8-bit style graphics is the perfect fit for this game which is rated Everyone 10+.

Fort Solis

Available through Jan 14, 2026

Playing as Jack, you must explore Fort Solis and learn about the mystery of the place. The developers have used Unreal Engine 5.2 to bring the place and its story to life. This looks like the kind of adventure you shouldn’t miss.

Another World: 20th Anniversary Edition

Available through Dec 17, 2025

Another World was also known as Out of This World. It was originally released in 1991 and has cult status among many. It’s a single player game where you play as Lester Knight Chaykin who is a scientist moving through time and space because of “a nuclear experiment gone wrong.”

Dungeons & Dragons Games

Finally, we have a pair of gold box Dungeons & Dragons games that are classics to old school gamers. These games were released in the early 1990s and allow players to create parties of characters and experience the worlds of the Dragonlance and Dark Sun campaign settings.

Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Sun Series
Available through Dec 10, 2025
A collection of two games, Shattered Lands and Wake of the Ravager, allows you to explore the desolate wastelands of Dark Sun.

Dungeons & Dragons: Krynn Series
Available through Dec 24, 2025
These three games take you to the lands and stories of Krynn. The collection includes Champions of Krynn, Death Knights of Krynn, and The Dark Queen of Krynn.

Time to Play!

The games from Amazon Prime Gaming give you quite a lot to choose from to fill your month. My opinion is that you should claim everything and then jump into whatever strikes your fancy when you have some free time. Note that the availability of games varies, so some will expire sooner than others. So don’t delay!

When you claim your free games, they are yours forever! So add them to your collection right away, and you’ll never be bored. Don’t forget to follow us because we’ll keep you up on the latest gaming news!

Happy gaming!
