Free Expansion “SANABI: A Haunted Day” Out Now on Steam
“SANABI: A Haunted Day” is the free DLC Expansion of the cyberpunk platformer SANABI: The Revenant. The game is out now on Steam and has Overwhelmingly Positive Reviews. The base game came out on November 8, 2023, and SANABI: A Haunted Day came out on Steam on November 27, 2025. The game is also available on the Nintendo Switch, and the DLC will come out for that platform this winter.
“A Haunted Day” takes place 13 years prior to the events of the main game, with eight new stages and two boss fights. The new playable character, Major Song, follows a lead into a treacherous scrapyard full of aggressive robots and an ominous signaling device.

According to NEOWIZ, the game’s publisher, “Major Song can perform agile aerial maneuvers with precision. Combined with her unique abilities—a recoverable mid-air jump and expert use of a shotgun—she becomes a formidable opponent, even against a General.“
SANABI is a “Stylish and agile ‘aerial action’ platformer” developed by Wonder Potion. Yoo Seung-Hyun said in a press release, “It feels good to revisit the world we built in SANABI through the eyes of Major Song, and we hope this free expanded content brings a fresh and fun experience that resonates with our community.”
Yoo Seung-Hyun, who is Wonder Potion’s CEO, also said, “We planned for short episodes around the Brigadier General, but we left the base game in a tightly structured place with a closed ending. By revisiting some of the fan favorite characters, we hope to give players additional stories to cherish and expand the universe beyond our original plans.”

According to Noisy Pixel’s Orpheus Joshua, Major Song is a fan favorite character from the main story. Also according to Joshua, The DLC will take approximately two hours to complete.
Joshua also wrote that Wonder Potion initially promised that the game would have brief DLC episodes during its crowdfunding phase, but SANABI’s unexpected popularity inspired the team to go forward.
Reviews on Steam recommend SANABI: The Revenant for its “beautiful art, rich storytelling and fun fight mechanics.” Steam Curator Hands-Off Gaming recommended the game, writing, “Grappling hook? Check. Acrobatic finesse? A joy. Need for revenge? Makes for a perfect concoction of indie-violence. Swing away!”
