Destiny 2 Renegades Fire and Ice Exotic Mission Walkthrough
For Destiny 2 Renegades, Bungie has included an Exotic mission in the campaign. Aunor has given the go-ahead for you to earn a new weapon. The Praxic Blade (Lightsaber) will soon be in your hands. However, you must complete the mission first. It is the trickiest mission of the campaign, so pay close attention. We will take you through how to earn the Praxic Blade and become a Destiny 2 Jedi.
Destiny 2 Renegades: Enter the Vault

First, you must find the Praxic Vault. You will not have any markers in this mission. Head to the right as you spawn in, killing Barant Imperium as you move. Make your way inside and activate a console after receiving Imperium Codes. The door will open, and now, Taken spawn? Kill the Taken and enter the portal. Acquire the Imbalanced Octant and move to the column in the middle. Climb it and drop down.
An Ascdendant Plane Path

Traverse through the Ascendant Plane until you reach an open area. You will see a platform jutting out in the middle. You need to get to that area. You can do so with a Grapple, Eager Edge, or by ascending on the right side. Be careful of the taken geysers and boop walls as you move. On the right of the platform, you will find a hole in the wall. Enter through, go up the stairs, and keep an eye on the right side. You will spot another hole. Ascend the retracting platforms.
You will reach a room with gates and symbols on the floor. The floor will break when you step on it, so move quickly. Navigate your way through. Some of the gates will block in front of you, while others will leave the path open. Climb to the top beams and head back in the direction you came from. Eventually, you will find a platform to your right. It takes you back out into the ascendant plane. Be wary of the disappearing floors. We recommend you have a grapple here; it will make your life easier. Reach the top of the crystal in front of you and proceed further. Use your Imbalanced Octant and enter the portal.
Balance the Scales

Welcome to your first combat puzzle. You need to balance the Light and Dark pockets. On each side, two centurions spawn, two Barant Imperium and two Taken. Killing two of the same type in a row spawns paired energy. Killing opposites spawns opposite energy. Use opposite energy on the dark blights and paired energy with the light blights.
Do not tilt them out of balance. When you get the pop-up that they are heavily out of balance, move to another blight. You can only throw two energy balls at a blight before it becomes unbalanced. Rotate between each blight, throwing two per rotation. Once you have completed two blights of the same color, move to the opposite. Once complete, return to the portal.
Disciple of Harrow
Your final boss fight remains. For the initial three sections of his health bar, you deal damage to him as per usual. He will teleport at each breakpoint, but remains damageable. For the final one, he goes immune. You must now balance the blights. The tricky part of this is that the centurions do not spawn at the same time. There are cruxes on despawning platforms that you must interact with to alternate between the Taken and Cabal enemies. Spawn opposite energy and rotate between the blights until you take down the boss’s shield. Kill the Disciple and earn your Praxic Blade.
The Praxic Blade

You will now learn how to use the Praxic Blade. A pivotal note: you receive one of two colors for the Blade. You either get Green or Blue; it is decided at random. Congratulations on becoming a Destiny 2 Jedi in Renegades. Which Praxic Blade color do you want first?
