Destiny 2 Renegades Walkthrough: The Long Con

Now that you have acquired your Blade and Imperium outfits, the plan is in motion. The penultimate mission for Destiny 2 Renegades requires you to shut off the Shield Generator of Nightfall Station. Star Wars fans will draw parallels to the Rebels traveling to Endor to destroy the Shield Generator. Below is your guide to getting one step closer to denying Dredgen Bael’s plans.

Destiny 2 Renegades: Survive the Landing

You are met with a landing party. Defeat them to progress. Destroy the Tower Emitters and defeat the Psions trying to bombard you. Defeat the Barant Imperium until it is safe for your Ghost to get to work. Protect him from the oncoming Cabal.

There is going to be a force, so prepare yourself and utilize your Renegade Abilities. You do not need to stay next to Ghost for him to progress. However, Disruptor Psions will target Ghost and deny his progress. Once his hack is complete, you must overload the Power conduits. You can find an Unstable Power Unit past a door on the left side. Throw it at the generator on the right side. Your Shank will try to get in, but Bael is ready for it.

Reach the Command Center

Drifter asks that you make your way to the Command Center and surrender upon your arrival. Before you get there, you must first disable the Shield Generator. The Cabal in front of you is the Totality; they will not engage you. Turn off the Shield Generator and get your loot. Make your way to the Command Center and witness Drifter’s long con.

Blue’s Plan

You have one more objective to achieve. With the Shield Generator down, you must board the Nightfall Station and take it down from the inside. Before you reach the Station, you must first board Lume’s Flagship. As Blue says, taking down two birds with one stone. An effective strategy. Good luck on your final mission, Guardians.
