Refurbished A499 God Roll Guide in Destiny 2
The Refurbished A499 Heavy Sniper Rifle is the first of its kind. While there are other Heavy Sniper Rifles, all of them are Exotic. Refurbished A499 is a Legendary weapon. It has taken the PvE meta by storm, with many chasing the god roll for the upcoming Equilibrium Dungeon. It being a Renegades weapon means there are plenty of places to farm it. There is also a chance that one of your drops of this Sniper is already masterworked with an extra Origin Trait.
Refurbished A499 Information
Refurbished A4999 is a Kinetic Heavy Disruption Sniper Rifle. It is the first Legendary weapon of its kind. It is also the only Renegades Destination weapon not under the Heat Weapon Archetype.

Column 3
- Bewildering Burst, Gutshot Straight, Outlaw, Snapshot, Lone Wolf, Moving Target, No Distractions
Column 4
- Envious Assassin, Mulligan, Ancillary Ordinance, Box Breathing, Aggregate Charge, Auto-Loading Holster, Ambitious Assassin
PvE God Roll
We could have had a beast of a weapon if Bungie had allowed us. But they decided to place Auto-Loading Holster in the same column as the other damage perks. If you want to use the Sniper for quick rotations, you have to forego a damage perk. However, the weapon’s reload is cancellable by swapping at the right time. It makes it viable in some rotations (like the current Solo Witness strategy).
Aggregate Charge is the best damage perk in the fourth column. Some speculated that Box Breathing would work, but given that you are forced out of scope to reload, it does not work as planned. As for the third column, there is nothing that stands out. Snapshot Sights helps with faster scoping, while No Distractions reduces flinch. Do not worry too much if you do not get either of these perks. Gutshot Straight is currently bugged on Refurbished A499. The bug is likely to be resolved soon.

PvP God Roll
Refurbished A-499 can one-shot most guardians, even with a body shot. We want to make our lives easier in landing the shot. Lone Wolf is the best choice to help us land our shots on enemy guardians. Mulligan is the only choice in the fourth column. The rest either do not aid the weapon or are near impossible to activate. At least with Mulligan, you have a chance to receive the ammo back if you miss your shot.

Acquiring Refurbished A499
Refurbished A499 drops from the Lawless Frontier and Renegades Campaign. Players can spend Dark Ingots or Credits at the Pikers Syndicate for Refurbished A499. The Dark Ingots at the War Chest are not guaranteed, but you can purchase one from the Piker Vendor.
