High Tyrant God Roll Guide in Destiny 2

The Equilibrium Dungeon continues to produce top-tier weapons, the more you look at them. High Tyrant is another drop from the dungeon that we recommend you chase the god roll of. You can continuously farm for this weapon, as each clear of the dungeon resets the encounter and secret chest drops. The farming in Equilibrium is infinite, and we have some ways to increase the effectiveness of that farming.

How to Farm Efficiently

If you want to have the best time farming specific weapons from the dungeon, complete the dungeon quest. Doing so will give you access to attunement. You can attune at the Praxic Temple near the first encounter area. You can also get tier five weapons if you do the dungeon with four feats active. You choose all of the feats except Cutthroat, as they do not heavily impact the time you will spend in the dungeon.

High Tyrant Information

High Tyrant is a Void Balanced Pulse Rifle in the Heat Weapon Archetype. Most Void weapons have Repulsor Brace and Destabilizing Rounds as a perk combination. Unfortunately, High Tyrant has both of those perks in the same column. As a Heat Weapon, it has innate bonus damage vs combatants.

• Cooling Baubles, Delicate Tuning, Destabilizing Rounds, Repulsor Brace, Loose Change, Rapid Hit, Demolitionist

Column 4

• Thermal Atomization, Master of Arms, Headseeker, Frenzy, Withering Gaze, Demoralize, Meganeura

PvE God Roll

Unfortunately, we do not have the fabled Void perk combination. That means we will go with Destabilizing Rounds as the primary option in the third column. While the other perks are good, none of them compete with the potential of Destabilizing Rounds. For this season in particular, Demoralize is perfect to combo with the artifact perks. However, for the future seasons, Meganeura will see more consistent value. Frenzy can work as well for the standard bonuses.

PvP God Roll

High Tyrant enters the PvP space as a strong contender. It has a couple of perks that make it lethal in the Crucible. Delicate Tuning will increase the potency of the weapon, thanks to its range and accuracy buffs. Headseaker is the best option in the fourth column to increase its damage. The likelihood that every hit you land is a critical hit with a burst weapon is low. Headseaker ensures that any body shots you land will increase the damage of your precision hits.

Acquiring High Tyrant

High Tyrant can drop from any encounter or secret chest with the attunement active. It is more likely to drop from the final encounter.
