MaiL09: Sweden’s Next Counter-Strike Sensation
Young prodigies in competitive games aren’t a new sight, but Counter-Strike 2 has a young prodigy in the form of MaiL09, a recent addition to the Norwegian esports team Metizport. Liam “MaiL09” Tügel is a 16-year-old Swedish rifler who was signed onto Metizport in July 2025. MaiL09 was a member of Swedish Counter-Strike team Johnny Speeds, where he averaged a 1.13 Kill/Death ratio throughout his five months with Johnny Speeds. He was a member of GODSENT from August 2024 to December 2024.

Currently signed with Team Spirit, donk is currently 18 years old and was 2024’s #1 Counter-Strike 2 player, according to HLTV. donk has won over $800,000 in prize money, as of this year.
