Sullen Claw God Roll Guide in Destiny 2
Eager Edge Words have been a mainstay in Destiny 2 players’ arsenals since their introduction. The skating use has made it a premier option. One sword archetype without Eager Edge is Lightweight Frames. However, that has changed with the release of Sullen Claw in the Equilibrium Dungeon. Sullen Claw also gets double damage perks. You can farm for the Sword on every encounter clear and secret chest opening.
How to Farm Efficiently
If you want to have the best time farming specific weapons from the dungeon, complete the dungeon quest. Doing so will give you access to attunement. You can attune at the Praxic Temple near the first encounter area. You can also get tier five weapons if you do the dungeon with four feats active. You choose all of the feats except Cutthroat, as they do not heavily impact the time you will spend in the dungeon.
Sullen Claw Information
Sullen Claw is a Void Lightweight Frame Sword. It is the only weapon from the Equilibrium Dungeon that is not a part of the Heat Weapon archetype.
PvE God Roll
Legendary Swords are rarely used for damage strategies in the current sandbox. Only Wolfsbane and the Praxic Blade form part of a Guardian’s damage loadout. You can get double damage perks for Sullen Claw. You pair Vorpal Weapon with either Bait & Switch or Whirlwind Blade. If you find that you are running out of ammo, Relentless Strikes is better than Vorpal. However, it being a Lightweight Frame means you are unlikely to use significant ammo. Alternatively, you have the skating use case. All you need is Eager Edge for this, the fourth column perk does not have much influence, but a damage perk like Bait & Switch or Whirlwind Blade does not hurt to have.
Damage Use
- Blade: Jagged Edge
- Guard: Swordmaster’s Guard
- Column 3: Vorpal Weapon (alternative – Relentless Strikes)
- Column 4: Whirlwind Blade (alternative – Bait & Switch)
- Masterwork: Impact
- Origin Trait: Imperial Allegiance
Skating Use
- Blade: Hungry Edge
- Guard: Swordmaster’s Guard
- Column 3: Eager Edge
- Column 4: Whirlwind Blade (alternative – Bait & Switch)
- Masterwork: Impact
- Origin Trait: Imperial Allegiance
PvP God Roll
Swords will always one-shot the enemy Guardians in PvP. As a result, we need a way to get closer to them to land the Sword hit. Look no further than Eager Edge for Sullen Claw. The lunge distance will allow you to close the gap in seconds. Assassin’s Blade is the other perk choice, which grants us extra movement speed after securing a kill.
- Blade: Hungry Edge
- Guard: Swordmaster’s Guard
- Column 3: Eager Edge
- Column 4: Assassin’s Blade

Acquiring Sullen Claw
Sullen Claw can be obtained from any encounter or secret chest with the attunement active. It is more likely to drop from the second encounter.
