At its core, plant growth in Alchemy Factory is a race against the clock. You plop a seed into a designated bed, and then you wait… And wait… Maybe internally scream for a bit. BUT the art of growing crops relies on time management and how you can use it to your advantage.

Every plant has a specific growth timer and a set of needs to follow. They might demand water, specific fertilizer, or just general attention from your overworked staff. You must treat your crops as instruments that need proper maintenance, or else your cauldron will remain empty and the entire potion quota stalls.

Manual growth is fantastic for the early game and gives you precise control. Manual planting is exactly what it sounds like: you—or a poor, underpaid worker—physically placing seeds, monitoring their progress, and harvesting the goods by hand.
