The most anticipated character of Marvel Rivals, Deadpool, is officially arriving with the season 6 launch. The news comes from Marvel Rivals devs NetEase as they announce the newest season titled Night at the Museum, while also smoothly dropping Deadpool’s official debut in the game, through trailers and social media posts. Here’s all we know about the release date of season 6 of Marvel Rivals.
Deadpool Joins Marvel Rivals
Deadpool is one of the most popular Marvel characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as well as one of the most anticipated characters to join Marvel Rivals, and now, fans don’t have to wait any longer, now that he is being introduced in the new season 6 update for the game. The news of Deadpoll’s debut was dropped during the cinematic trailer for season 6, which also revealed the title of the new season, Night at the Museum.
Though it has not yet been announced, there are many theories and leaks about what Deadpool’s abilities would look like. According to leakers, Deadpool’s primary weapons would consist of his pistol and twin katanas. These are weapons his character is known to carry.
Many also suspect that Deadpool will have regenerative abilities, similar to, if not the same as, Wolverine’s Regenerative Healing Factor, which triggers when he’s about to die, giving him a burst of health and removing debuffs at the cost of his rage. These abilities have yet to be confirmed, but given Deadpool’s affinities in the MCU, it wouldn’t come as a surprise if his kit were something along these lines.
All About Season 6
Deadpool will be arriving during the season 6 update, which is called Night at the Museum. So what is this new update about? According to leaks, the season 6 trailer takes place inside a museum, which is believed to be a location owned by the Collector, a Marvel character who collects different objects throughout the universe he finds valuable.
This has led leakers to believe that a previously leaked map called The Collector’s Theme Park will be the new map introduced in the season 6 update. However, this is all purely speculation, and we’ll know how much of it is true once the new update releases.

The season 6 update of Marvel Rivals will release on January 16. Along with the release of season 6, two new characters will be making their Rivals debut: Deadpool and Elsa Bloodstone. These characters will also receive alternative skins at launch; however, the details on the alternative skins have yet to be announced.
