Genshin Impact 6.4 Leaks Tease A Long-Awaited Character
Genshin Impact Version 6.4, unfortunately, will probably not have as much to interest players as 6.3. After all, the Archon Quest has wrapped and there is no new area to explore. That said, it will still bring a much-anticipated character for players to pull, which has its own benefits. After all, there are only a few Anemo DPS, so a new one is always welcome.

To that end, I’ll be covering the base level premise of each character so that you can make a moderately informed decision on which character(s) you want to prepare for.
Varka: The Long-Awaited Boreas Knight
The Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius is, unsurprisingly, a 5-Star Anemo character who wields not 1 but 2 Claymores. Because of course he does. As of right now, his kit is based around using his Skill to infuse and empower his Normal Attacks.
His Talent books are Freedom, his regional specialty is Wolfhook, he uses drops from Landcruisers as his level-up materials, his Overworld Boss comes out with him, and his Weekly Boss drop is the Rook from the Chess boss.
Ballad of the Mighty Wolf
Varka’s personal weapon. Its secondary Stat is Crit Rate. It’s passive gives ATK SPD, stacking bonus DMG, and if the party has the Hexerei effect, the stacking Buff will also increase CRIT DMG.
Event Overview
No new Archon quest for this patch, which is to be expected. However, it seems that there will be a story quest for Varka and a return to Mondstadt.
The Flagship Event for 6.4 appears to be the Windblume Festival. Personally, I’d like to see a few more festivals from other nations, but it’s always nice to get back to our roots in Mondstadt, I suppose. Apart from that, there will be 2 other events: a Tower Defense event (love those) and a Photography event.
Other updates include 2 new weapons skins from the Stygian Onslaught (for those who actually manage to get them), new TCG cards (Ineffa, Aino, Mika), the Nod Krai Teapot domain, a new Overworld Boss (Varka’s), Echo trails for Ayaka and Ayato, 21 new character Anecdotes, and 4 new Thespian Tricks (Emilie, Ayaka, Itto, and Ororon). There will also be a few updates to the Miliastra Wonderland.
