The Destiny 2 Grandmaster Vanguard Alert version of Exodus Crash has all Barrier and Overload champions. The opening section of the new Exodus Crash is much better than before. As you exit the cave, prioritize killing the Barrier Hobogoblin, then turn your attention to the rest of the enemies. As you move through, be wary of the Skiffs, as they can kill you in seconds.

Once you reach the top of the area, you will face a Brig. Put all of your resources into killing it as quickly as possible. The other threats are one Barrier and Overload Champions, as well as Shanks with slow fields. Slow field Shanks threaten throughout the activity.

Be wary of the mines and Champions as you progress. Only shoot the mines when your teammates are far away from them.

You do not have to force yourself to stay near Ghost when you need to defend him. Kill all the enemies and prioritize taking cover when necessary. The Champions and Bane enemies are your focus. Keep an eye out for the Exploding Shanks and try not to play stacked. About halfway through the hack progress, a Lieutenant spawns, along with more enemies. Leave the Lieutenant for last, but be wary of the crystals he spawns. Once you step back on the plates, more enemies flood in. Kill all of them before completing the hack. Lastly, a Disciple spawns; kill it to progress.

While collecting the Arc charges, you watch out for the numerous snipers. Move through the area slowly, while eliminating all the threats.

Once you reach the area with the Walker, prioritize killing the enemies around. Pike’s drive around, and they can kill you quickly. Skiffs also spawn; be sure to break their turrets. Once all outer enemies are dead, turn your attention to the Walker. Pikes are effective at destroying it without expending ammo.

Head inside. In this area, take cover as much as possible while clearing out the enemies. Sniper Shanks, Vandals, and Barrier Servitors litter the area. You must only progress once all enemies are dead.

The boss room presents a challenge. From exploding shanks to banes to shanks with slow fields and the boss, you are always in danger. Continue moving around the room, eliminating each threat that gets close. Dealing damage to the boss is secondary. When you deal 50% of the boss’s health, Vex enemies spawn. You will face overload and Barrier champions along with Fanatics, a Hydra, and Harpies. Utilize the same strategy as before, leaving the Hydra for last. Depositing the core despawns the Vex enemies. The second set of Fallen enemies are Maruaders, Vandals, and Servitors. The group is not as dangerous as the first.

Destiny 2 Loadout Recommendations

Ensure that at least one person has a weapon to stun all Overload and Barrier champions. Ideally, you have two players for each type. If one player dies, you might struggle to deal with a champion type. Roaming Supers are ideal for clearing through the majority of enemies. That will give you more time to focus on the enemies with more health.

Any Destiny 2 Hunter build that plays around Invisibility and Spirit of Inmost Light will help in this activity. The invisibility will ensure that you can move around freely. Getaway Artist is the ideal option for Warlocks to help deal with all the enemy spawns and keep you alive. Lastly, Titans can run Actium War Rig on Void with Choir of One.
