Lethal Company Horror Game KLETKA is Set to Fully Release on February 19

After Lethal Company blew up the internet, many games were released that adopted the Lethal Company signature. KLETKA is a Lethal Company-like game that was released in early access in 2024. KLETKA is a co-op horror game about going down in an elevator that is trying to eat you. You must feed the elevator, explore each floor, and descend further down. KLETKA has been in early access for a little over a year, and now it is finally exiting early access next month.

The Phenomenon of Lethal Company-Like Games

If you didn’t know, Lethal Company is a co-op horror game where you work for the Company, and you are tasked with looting different interiors to feed the elusive boss. When Lethal Company was released back in 2023, the game exploded in popularity for months. However, developer Zeekerss slowed down on the updates for the game. Because of this, it brought out a phenomenon of game developers releasing games in the likeness of Lethal Company.

Dozens of games were released from 2024 to 2025, with the Lethal Company signature style of gameplay and objective: go into a building, loot, and bring it back to wherever or whoever you need to, to keep the run going. Games like Content Warning, Repo, Skyward Extraction, Pilgrim, and KLETKA are just a few Lethal Company-like games that have comeout within the past couple of years, and KLETKA now has an official release date next month.

What is KLETKA?

KLETKA is an interesting take on the Lethal Company schema. Instead of being on some kind of transportation device to take you to an abandoned building to loot, you are trapped in an elevator that is trying to eat you. The catch: It takes you down different floors to collect loot, and you must use that loot to feed the elevator and satiate its hunger, avoiding being eaten. However, there is still danger exiting the elevator, as you encounter different monsters and things trying to kill you while you explore each floor.

The game explains that as the character players, we are criminals who are convicted and sent to the Gigastructure, an endlessly expanding building that changes and is filled with traps and monsters trying to kill us. KLETKA is the elevator that we use to descend the Gigastructure, and we must feed it loot, fuel, and anything we can pick up while we explore each floor. As per Lethal Company fashion, there really is no endgame, and your run is as long as you can maintain all your objectives.

When KLETKA was in early access, we got to see a lot of content the developers were working on, like the Samosbor, a phenomenon that kills anything in its path, forcing you to stop everything you’re doing and run to the elevator as quickly as possible. This particular game mechanic is an interesting addition to the Lethal Company-like game.

Exiting Early Access February 19

KLETKA has been in early access for a little over a year now, and the full 1.0 release of the game will become available on February 19. The devs have released a new trailer for the 1.0 release. The game was only available to play on PC (Steam and the Epic Games Store); however, in addition to the full release of the game, KLETKA will become available to play on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

With the game’s full release, developers  Callback and ln404 have announced that the game will have cross-platform gaming, so you can play with friends or others on different platforms.
