Divine Fragmentation is an Exotic Quest in Destiny 2 part of the Shadowkeep expansion. It relates to the Garden of Salvation raid and rewards the Exotic Trace Rifle called Divinity. It is an amazing utility weapon that wraps the target in a debuff field, making it take 15 percent more damage. It also allows precision shots to land more easily. This article will go over everything you need to do to start this quest and all the steps you will need to do to complete it.
How to Get The Quest
To get the Quest of Divine Fragmentation in Destiny 2 players will need to go to the starting area of the Garden of Salvation Raid. However, players must reach there on patrol. Players should travel to the Moon destination and the Sorrow’s Harbor landing zone to do so. There travel in a straight path and then turn right which will lead you to another destination called Lunar Battlegrounds.
Once there immediately turn left and players will head into a cave. In there there will be a Vex gate as well as three waves of Vex enemies that players will need to defeat. Once all the enemies are defeated it will drop an Exotic Engram. Upon picking it up it will give you a Quest Step called “What’s This… What’s This?”. This will start the Divine Fragmentation quest.
Lost Sectors
To progress the Divine Fragmentation quest in Destiny 2, players will need to head to three Lost Sectors in Nessus. In these Lost Sectors, players need to find Oracles and interact with them. The first Lost Sector is the Orrery near the Artifact’s Edge landing zone on Nessus. Once inside, before going up the main stairs to where the boss spawns, jump up on the left side ledge and there will be a hidden path. Inside there will be an Oracle that players will need to interact with.
The next Oracle is in the Ancient Haunt Lost Sector in The Tangle area of Nessus. This time players will be looking for a cave that will be halfway through the sector. It is not hard to spot and there will be an Oracle inside that players will need to interact with.
The final Lost Sector is The Conflux which is in The Cistern area of Nessus. In the middle of the sector jump up on the giant structure. From there jump to the right to a secret room. There players will find the final Oracle. Once interacted with the Divine Fragmentation quest will progress.
Vex Combatants
The next step in the Quest is to obtain 120 Decryption Cores which will be obtained by defeating Vex enemies. So, head to the activities that are abundant in Vex enemies and keep slaying out. Once you have all the cores you need players will progress to the next step. This will require them to collect 30 Phantasmal Fragments at the Lactern next to the Eris Morn Vendor on the Moon. The Phantasmal Fragments are obtained by completing various activities on the Moon.
Garden of Salvation
The final step of the Quest lies inside the Garden of Salvation raid. Here players will need to be in a fireteam of 6. It is a long process in which players will need to find 8 nodes in the Raid that are scattered between encounters. Interacting with the nodes will link players together in a chain.
Now players will need to arrange themselves in such a way that the chain passes through the 6 Oracles that will appear in the area near which the nodes were present. Once all 8 of these are completed, players will then need to beat the Raid. At the final chest, another chest will appear and it will reward players with Divinity. This will mark the end of the Divine Fragmentation quest.
