Tsukishiro Yanagi is an agent dropping in Zenless Zone Zero in its next update 1.3. If you are new to the scene, Zenless Zone Zero is the latest hit in miHoyo’s line of games being an action RPG, fighting, and adventure game. Yanagi won’t be the last to drop from this game as ZZZ is ready for a lot more than just her.
Tsukishiro Yanagi
Yanagi is an Electric Anomaly agent that will be coming in Zenless Zone Zero 1.3. Yanagi is the Deputy Chief of Section 6. There isn’t a lot to go off of her as a person, and her kit in-game isn’t entirely released besides via leaks. What we can know came from her Agent Record from Zenless Zone Zero’s X post, comments from her colleagues call her a “stickler for the rules” and “force her teammates to follow them.” She is either completely strict as a person or has a good heart to keep everyone safe.
Of course that leads us to the next comment: “Is today Deputy Chief Tsukishiro’s birthday?” this is a comment given as there are flowers on Yanagi’s desk on Mother’s Day, while it IS possible to be her birthday, she could be a mother and why she would be so dedicated to eliminating evil. But only time, and trust events, can tell moving forward.
That being said she isn’t alone in Section 6 with Soukaku, Hoshimi Miyabi, and Harumasa joining her there with Miyabi being her superior, and the next one to hopefully drop in Phase 2 after Yanagi.
Known Leaks and Predictions
What we do know about her leaks, is that she has a period of invincibility and can do more damage to enemies affected by Anomaly Damage. She has two stances: Upper Chord and Lower Chord. Her special attack, Flowing Transition, deals electric damage. With enough energy, she will be able to use her Lunar Flowing Transition and deal massive electric damage in a forward strike. Her ultimate, Thunder Shadow Heavenly Splendor, can hit with a strong 3000% of damage. Whether that will change or not, we will have to see once she releases.
While it isn’t leaked nor confirmed, I think she will come as a S-Rank. So that means she will with her own banner and that means, her own engine will be out for grabs as well. Leaks for Yanagi’s W-Engine states that she will get a boost to her Electric Anomaly. Attacks will get a build-up increase of 30%, and special attacks generate an extra 75 Anomaly points. Lighter is going to be dropping with her, as the A-Rank. These are leaks, so don’t forget to take them with a grain of salt as they can always change.
In truth, it’s no surprise we are getting Yanagi as of 1.3, but players can only hope her commander, Miyabi, will be dropping as well. Currently, Proxies are looking at 1.2 right now with Ceasar and Burnice currently coming out one after the other and their storylines with the Sons of Calydon. Hopefully, we get to see more of the Hollow Investigation Unit going forward.
