Destiny 2 Festival of the Lost: Acosmic God Roll Guide

Festival of the Lost is the annual Halloween celebration in Destiny 2. Eva Levante returns as a vendor to the tower and comes with brand-new cosmetics, new armor sets for Warlocks, Hunters, and Titans as well as exclusive weapons. 5 Legendary weapons are exclusive to the Festival of the Lost. Acosmic is one such weapon and is a Heavy Grenade Launcher. These weapons come with the Origin Trait called Search Party. This allows the weapons to gain faster aim down sight and movement speed when no allies are nearby.

Acosmic is a Rapid-Fire Frame Grenade Launcher that has Void affinity. Rapid-Fire Grenade Launchers got a buff recently and they are one of the best weapons to use in PvE. Being a heavy weapon, they are not important for The Crucible. Acosmic has some insane perk options that allow it to not only get Void synergy but also deal amazing damage to bosses.

This weapon comes with 14 perk options. In the left column, this weapon has access to Withering Gaze, Reverberation, Slickdraw, Air Trigger, Impulse Amplifier, Enlightened Action, and Clown Cartridge. In the right column, the perk options available are Frenzy, Deconstruct, Bait and Switch, Chain Reaction, Destabilizing Rounds, Explosive Light, and Cascade Point.

PvE God Roll

For PvE, players want to boost the Reload Speed of Acosmic as high as possible. Velocity is a close second. Players should go for Quick Launch as the Barrel perk option, Spike Grenades as the Magazine option, and a Reload Speed Masterwork. Spike Grenades provide the weapon with extra damage on direct hits.

In the left column, there are two perk options that players must consider. Impulse Amplifier is a perk that boosts the Velocity and Reload Speed of the projectiles. It is the best perk option if players are looking for something to boost their Reload Speed. Another unique perk that this weapon possesses in the left column is Withering Gaze. This perk is highly synergistic with the Void subclass.

It allows the weapon to apply the Weaken debuff to enemies after aiming down sight for a short period. Weaken is a great debuff that allows the enemies to receive 15 percent more damage. This is amazing for Acosmic as the first shot can be used to apply Weaken and the rest of the shots can be followed to deal extra damage.

In the right column, players want a damage-dealing perk and the best option is Bait and Switch. It allows the weapon to deal 35 percent more damage provided the player deals damage with all the weapons in the loadout. This perk goes well with Withering Gaze as well. Aim down sight and shoot the first shot with Acosmic, this will apply Weaken. Switch weapons and deal damage with the other two weapons. Then switch back to the Heavy Grenade Launcher to now have Bait and Switch activated.

  • Barrel: Quick Launch
  • Magazine: Spike Grenades
  • Masterwork: Reload Speed
  • Left Column: Withering Gaze
  • Right Column: Bait and Switch
