FromSoftware has given Elden Ring Nightreign fans what every gamer wants: a Beta! Nightreign is a cooperative spinoff of Elden Ring, which was announced at The Game Awards last year. It is scheduled for release here in 2025 for the PlayStation, Windows, and Xbox. Elden Ring has a legacy for action roleplaying set in a procedurally generated open-world exploration. While the game is mostly for single players, it will have a mode for teams of three. This co-op mode will be running a Closed Network Test for a lucky few from February 14 to 17.
Elden Ring Nighreign Is Coming
Elden Ring Nightreign’s network test gives the lucky three players an opportunity to team up, working together against the growing threats in a changing map with a new, challenging boss at the end. The fortunate ones who have already registered and been selected for testing could already have been sent access by email for testing. While the closed Beta testing doesn’t start until February 14, several codes have been sent and confirmed on the 11. If you are one of them, you can preload now to be ready for when testing starts.
If you were selected, be careful. Unfortunately, several scam emails have also been sent out, trying to get those selected to participate in the Beta to give up their codes. Please be aware of these scamming attempts, and don’t be tricked. The trick is that they claim they need the code through Steam; however, the game isn’t playable via Steam.
Good Times on the Way
Several other fans of Elden Ring have excitedly shared screenshots of their codes being selected and downloads complete, while several players have claimed their codes were incomplete or not for their platform. If you received a code that hasn’t been working for you, it is encouraged to act quickly so you don’t miss the Elden Ring Nightreign playtest. If you have problems, contact support for help.
For fans who have been selected for the Beta, here is what is coming. Elden Ring Nightreign starts at the Roundtable Hold. Nightreign takes place alongside the Elden Ring saga. Imagine the loading screen where you will be able to select from eight avatars, each offering different abilities and ultimates. Once selected, they set out to Limveld, where few hope to survive.
Times Aren’t the Only Things Changing
Elden Ring Nightreign Limveld is an ever-changing map where exploration is hampered by a shrinking playable area thanks to Night Tide. With a changing battle area where the difficulty increases when the day gives way to night and before the night gives way to day, players must face a powerful boss. If victorious, the players will have the opportunity to fight through another day where the cycle repeats and only gets harder.
If players can and do survive into the third night, they will have the privilege of facing off against the Nightlord. Nightreign will offer the opportunity to be played alone; however, going into battle alone may not be the wisest choice. The game is designed for teamwork for the best rewards and chances for success. Cooperating with a team where players can combine their abilities against ever-growing danger is essential for success.
Nothing Like This Before
FromSoftware is offering something they have never done before. They promise that players in Elden Ring Nightreign’s action RPG will never have the same experience twice. Every enemy encounter, as well as rewards won, will never be the same. With Limveld’s every change, parts with new sessions. What gamer wouldn’t love the opportunity to face off against increasing odds, greater awards, and uncovering better weapons with growing friendships? Every session is like a dungeon battle and character improvement. Nightreign will be tested, proven, and, better yet, playable soon.
