Black Panther’s best base stat is his health. He is one of the beefier duelists, and with his bonus health abilities, he can be hard to take down in battle. Black Panther can go through a string of refreshes on Spirit Rend, attacking opponents and gaining max health. This ultimate takes a little bit of setup but, when done right, can swing the tide of battle in seconds.

  • Special Effect: Black Panther summons Bast, who pounces forward, damages enemies in a large area, and applies the Vibranium Mark on all targets. It also refreshes Spirit Rend.

Strategies

Black Panther is all about sequencing his attacks in the correct order. It makes him one of the trickier heroes, but if you are able to get the steps down, he can be devastating. The first step is to apply Vibranium Mark to as many enemies as possible with Spear Toss or Spinning Kick. Then, you can chain attacks together, refreshing the abilities to gain health and deal damage. He will probably be the first character into a fight but also the first one to leave.

While there are ways to buff his health, he is susceptible to ranged attacks without cover. If he is cornered and there is no escape, his health will dwindle quickly. His Subtle Step ability gives some additional sight, as the double jump can scout ahead, but overall, this character relies on callouts from teammates. Pick your spots, and don’t be too aggressive, or you will end up dead really quickly.

Black Panther can be a very fun hero to play in Marvel Rivals. However, he can also be very frustrating in the wrong hands.
