OWCS Champions Clash 2025 Day Three Crazy Raccoon is Crowned Champions
The final day of the OWCS Champions Clash provided what fans wanted. While NTMR could not match up to the Korean teams, the Grand Final between Team Falcons and Crazy Raccoon did not disappoint. The teams traded blows back and forth until Crazy Raccoon secured the advantage, winning the Grand Final 4-2 and becoming the OWCS Champions Clash Champions.
Team Falcons Versus NTMR

After NTMR’s historic series victory against Crazy Raccoon yesterday, they face Korea’s number-one seed, Team Falcons, for a spot in the Grand Finals. Lijiang Control Center saw the teams go back and forth before Team Falcons won it. Despite Zeruhh’s struggles on Pharah and some heroics from Proper to extend Night Market, NTMR managed to win the point, sending the map to Gardens as the decider. Gardens was in control of both teams for significant periods, but as the same Control Center, Team Falcons won out and opened the series 1-0.
Lethal proved once again why Hanzo is his pick on the first point of the King’s Row attack, taking down Fielder to open up the payload for NTMR. NTMR could not build continuous momentum for the rest of the attack but completed the map in Overtime. Stalk3r took a page from Lethal’s book, opening Team Falcons’ attack with Hanzo and finding the initial kill. Unlike NTMR, Team Falcons kept the momentum going, finishing King’s Row with 3:52 still on the clock. Team Falcons only needed one fight in the second attack round to finish the map and send them to match point.
In the first half of Runasapi, Team Falcons and NTMR traded blows and neither accrued a significant meter lead. It would only be at the halfway mark that Team Falcons garnered a lead for themselves. NTMR tried everything to claw back at Team Falcons’ push, but they could not get consistent fight wins, falling 3-0 in the series and dropping to the Lower Bracket Final. Proper gets the MVP as he carried Team Falcons to the OWCS Champions Clash Grand Final.
NTMR Versus Crazy Raccoon
NTMR fell to Team Falcons, and they must defeat an angry Crazy Raccoon to reach the Grand Final. Heesang’s Pharah, accompanied by Lip’s on Lijiang Tower Gardens, was too much for NTMR to handle. Crazy Raccoon wins the point 100-0 and moves to Night Market. NTMR found their footing on Night Market, reaching the final possible fight, but Heesang’s Barrage cleaned up to win the map.
Lethal did not get the opening pick with Hanzo on the King’s Row attack. While NTMR found advantages, Crazy Raccoon fought tooth and nail to keep the first point contested. NTMR caps the first point but can not get a significant push going with Heesang’s double quadra Rocket Barrage kills, keeping NTMR at bay on the second point. Crazy Raccoon plays Orisa, Symettra, and Torbjörn on their attack round, and it proves to be the right choice as they roll through King’s Row and take the map win.
Every fight on the attack round for NTMR on Circuit Royal had the teams trading kills, and it ended in Crazy Raccoon’s favor as they held NTMR at the end of the first point. CuFFa and zeruhh had heroic moments on their defense round, but it would be Heesang to deny zeruhh’s nano-blade to lead Crazy Raccoon to a 3-0 series win and face Team Falcons in the OWCS Champions Clash Grand Final. LIP earns the MVP as he helped Crazy Raccoon reach another Grand Final.
Team Falcons Versus Crazy Raccoon
The Korean Titans take to the stage to face each other once again to decide who is the best in the world, Team Falcons or Crazy Raccoon. Team Falcons chose Oasis for the first time in the tournament. Crazy Raccoon mirrors the Mauga composition on Gardens, with a slight variation of Ch0rong’s Juno, and wins the round. Team Falcons struggles on the Mauga at the beginning of University and instead pivots to Hanbin’s D.Va, which takes over the point and secures the round. City Center sees Team Falcons stay on the D.Va while Junbin changes to Winston. The D.Va proves vital for Team Falcons as they dominate City Center to win Oasis.
Team Falcons started Suravasa with a comfortable first point, and it seemed like Crazy Raccoon was crumbling. The Crazy Raccoon’s downfall call was pre-emptive as they won three straight points, leveling up the series. Crazy Raccoon held the advantage for a large portion of Runasapi with Junbin on the Winston. Team Falcons eventually regained their footing on Runasapi to take the lead and almost completed the map to go ahead 2-1 in the series.
Crazy Raccoon chooses Route 66. They make short work of the first two points on their attack round. Unfortunately, Team Falcons stifle the momentum and deny Crazy Raccoon for over four minutes, stopping them from completing the map. Team Falcons garner the same momentum on the first point of their attack, but they get stuck on the second. Eventually, they reach the third point, but the Mauga swap is not enough to get the win, and the series is tied 2-2.
Crazy Raccoon does not let the demons of Runapasi return, as they maintain their advantage throughout the map. Hanbin was left wondering where his team was every fight with Crazy Raccoon, dismantling the Mauga composition to head to the point.
Max gets subbed in for Crazy Raccoon on Circuit Royal, but his Sigma can not stop Team Falcons from completing the map with 2:53 on the clock. Max on the Zarya carries through Crazy Raccoon on the first point of Circuit Royal, making Hanbin match the Zarya. Even with the swap from Hanbin, Team Falcons could do nothing to stop the momentum of Crazy Raccoon. The second attack round for Crazy Raccoon stumbled on the first point, but they managed to reach halfway through the second point. Crazy Raccoon opens their second-round defense with Symmetra and Torbjörn, which proves too much for Team Falcons, and Crazy Raccoon are the OWCS Champions Clash Champions.
With his unbelievable Flex Support gameplay, Shu got the Grand Finals MVP, swiftly carrying Crazy Raccoon.
Closing Thoughts
While the first international Overwatch 2 tournament is over, more competitive Overwatch will be coming throughout the year, so we are just getting started. Being back in China and hearing the Chinese crowd cheer on their players brought back plenty of nostalgia and something we all hope returns in the coming years. Lastly, congratulations to Crazy Raccoon on an incredible tournament, and well played to all the teams who gave it their all on the Hangzhou Stage.
