Top Explosive Upcoming PC Games You Can’t Miss in 2025

Some upcoming PC games worthy of our attention are just around the corner. With the recent and massive success following the release of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, we thought it was time we covered what other exciting releases were slated for this year. In no particular order, here are ten upcoming PC games we can’t wait to get our hands on.

#1 Game of Thrones: Kingsroad (TBA)

Game of Thrones: Kingsroad is a new action-adventure RPG with an interesting multiplayer twist. While players can play solo, they can also play with friends in a cooperative mode called the Altar of Memories. In this mode, players will enter dungeons and fight legendary creatures from Westeros and beyond.

#2 Doom: The Dark Ages (May 15th)

Doom enters a medieval-inspired world in this installment. Serving as a prequel to Doom (2016), players will be given an origin story on the DOOM Slayer’s rage. This isn’t just DOOM, it’s war on a scale we’ve never witnessed before.

#3 Elden Ring: Nightreign (May 30th)

There’s no doubt that Nightreign is one of the most anticipated upcoming PC games of this year. The new standalone co-op title is generating massive hype, and it’ll be impossible not to be impressed. Nightreign will undoubtedly be one of the best upcoming PC games of 2025.

This entry boasts the same formula we know and love from the Borderlands franchise, with a few upgrades. Players now have access to more dynamic movement on the vibrant Planet of Kairos, along with four new playable characters and an expanded loot system that guarantees no two playthroughs are alike.

Marathon has received a decent amount of hype following its recent announcement. The innovative extraction shooter brings a fresh take to the genre, plunging players into a narrative-driven experience backed by Bungie’s legacy and high expectations.

Taking place in a close-quarters rural setting, Dying Light: The Beast is more than just a sequel; it’s the next evolution in parkour survival.
