Riot Mortdog Returns With a Risky Teamfight Tactics Patch 14.5 Rundown

After a short hiatus, Riot Mortdog has returned to the public eye for Teamfight Tactics. His return began with a video regarding the updated Guinsoo’s Rageblade, followed by streams on Saturday and Sunday, culminating in a Patch Rundown. The 14.5 patch is light, with the most noteworthy changes in the items. The Patch should not see a significant shift in balance, given that the Set is the most balanced it has been.

Final Thoughts

Riot Mortdog’s return to the public eye is a positive sign for Teamfight Tactics. The hope is that he remains true to his word and ignores the negative comments as much as possible. He also mentioned that if he does not feel up to streaming on weekends or doing a Patch Rundown, he will skip out on them. The Patch itself should be interesting, given the reworked and added items, but hopefully, they do not drastically impact a balanced Cyber City meta.
