Destiny 2: Xur’s Offerings For June 6th to June 10th

Another weekend has come around, and Xur is once again in the Destiny 2 Tower. He will remain there until the weekly reset on June 10th. You can find him in the Bazaar area, where Ikora Rey and Suraya Hawthorne are. His offerings this week are weaker than last week. However, you should consider some of the gear. All offerings from Xur require Strange Coins to buy them.

Oathkeeper – Hunter Gauntlets

  • Exotic Perk
    • Adamantine Brace – Bow charges can be held indefinitely. Gain a bonus to the Bow’s damage when released, based on how long the charge was held. Provides a moderate benefit to the airborne effectiveness stat of Bows.

For the Hunter players who are Bow lovers, this Exotic is for you. While it does not have the same potency as other Exotics, it enables a specific playstyle. Unfortunately, Bows are not in the best state in the Destiny 2 sandbox, but this Exotic will always have its place. The stat distribution, while not spiking in any areas, is consistent, which is solid enough for most builds.

An Insurmountable Skullfort – Titan Helmet

  • Exotic Perk
    • Transfusion Matrix – Final blows with Arc melees trigger health regeneration and fully restore a melee charge. Melee hits grant Arc melee energy.

Of the three exotics available from Xur this week, An Insurmountable Skullfort has the most uses. With Arc Titan running rampant in this episode, An Insurmountable Skullfort has seen a hefty amount of use to keep Titans alive. However, the stat distribution on this particular one is lackluster. With the highest spike in Mobility, only pick up this offering from Xur if you do not have another one on your character.

Astrocyte Verse – Warlock Helmet

  • Exotic Perk
    • Move to Survive – Blink further and more frequently, causing targets near you to become volatile. Weapon readies quickly out of Blink, and radar remains up. While your Nova Warp Super is active, Dark Blink does not cost Super energy. Provides a moderate benefit to the airborne effectiveness stat of all weapons.

Astrocyte Verse is an extremely niche Exotic. It is excellent for its use case, but unfortunately, Blink and Nova Warp rarely get used in the current sandbox meta. The stat total is high, and given why you use the Exotic, the stat distribution is perfect as well. Usually, you want higher Resilience or Recovery on Warlock Armor, but given it is an Exotic centered around your jump, having high Mobility is the ideal stat. Pick this up from Xur if you want to use this Exotic.
