World Championship 2025 100T Preview: One Last Heist Before Bowing Out
Everyone knew at the start of the year that 2025 would be the final heist for 100Thieves in League of Legends. Against the odds, they managed to qualify for the World Championship. A roster swap, bringing in lane coach Dhokla, saw a shift in 100 Thieves’ fortunes. Throughout the LTA North and LTA Championship, they played an elimination series, but earned a ticket to the World Championship. The Thieves have one more heist to pull off before their spot is taken by the Sentinels next year.
100 Thieves Roster
- Rayan “Sniper” Shoura – Canadian Top Laner
- Niship “Dhokla Doshi – American Top Laner
- Kim “River” Dong-woo – Korean Jungler
- Lim “Quid” Hyeon-seung – Korean Mid Laner
- Victor “FBI” Huang – Australian Bot Laner
- Bill “Eyla” Nguyen – Australian Support
- Greyson “GoldenGlue” Gilmer – American Head Coach
100 Thieves kept most of the roster that qualified for the 2024 World Championship. FBI came in to replace Frank “Tomo” Lam in the Bot Laner position. They brought in Dhokla as a positional coach for Split 3. However, as 100 Thieves struggled to perform, he took the top lane spot from Sniper.
100T’s Road to Worlds

The 2025 year started well for 100T as they narrowly missed out on qualifying for the First Stand. They would have wanted to go to the international event, but defeating FlyQuest was a massive boon for the team. They slumped in Split 2, losing 3-0 to Shopify Rebellion in the Playoffs to finish 5th-6th. It went from bad to worse for 100T in the Split 3 as they finished the Pick and Play Phase with a 0-3 record. Dhokla took Sniper’s place in their final Pick and Play series.
The inclusion of the veteran top laner improved 100T drastically. They went on a tear during the Playoffs, winning four elimination series. Along the way, they beat Team Liquid and Cloud9 before demolishing SR 3-0 to reach the Grand Finals. They lost to FLY, but 100T was not over, as they still had the LTA Championship to qualify for the World Championship. There, they would beat the third and second seeds of LTA South 3-0 to secure a spot at the World Championship. Vivo Keyd Stars beat them in the Lower Bracket Final to prevent a 100T rematch against FLY.
River and Quid Must Lead the Charge
Dhokla’s inclusion in the 100T roster has impacted them and given much-needed stability. However, he is not the carry for this team. That mantle falls to River and Quid. The Korean Mid-Jungle has been pivotal to the 100T heist in Split 3 and the LTA Championship. River’s pathing in the early game often finds advantages for his laners. He either manages to gank his lanes early or invades the enemy jungler to give himself a lead while his lanes are free to play without jungle interference.
Quid, on the other hand, is the only player in the LTA North All-Pro first team not from FLY. His proficiency on melee champions has aided 100T’s skirmish-heavy playstyle. However, at the 2024 World Championship, Quid crumbled under the pressure and was a factor in their disappointing Playoffs run. He will not want a repeat of that performance.
One Final Heist
100T were added to LTA North as a provisional guest, with their spot likely being taken by another team in 2026. That is now confirmed, with Sentinels becoming a partner. However, before that can happen, 100T have one more heist to attempt. They come into the World Championship as underdogs, with many not expecting them to make a dent. However, with no expectations and having surprised everyone this year, who is to doubt that they can pull off one final heist before bowing out of professional League of Legends?
Expectations
The expectations for this roster are low. As the third seed from the LTA, there are not many teams that 100T are expected to beat. A 0-3 exit from the Swiss Stage in their final World Championship performance is likely to be their finish. If they manage to win a game against one of the higher seeds in other regions, that will be a surprise.
Upcoming Journey
100T starts their final heist in Pool 3 of the Swiss Stage in the World Championship. Their potential Round 1 opponents are: GenG Esports, Bilibili Gaming, G2 Esports, and CTBC Flying Oyster.
