Worlds 2025: 100 Thieves Final Heist Cut Short
One of the teams that defied expectations this year is 100 Thieves. No one thought they would qualify for Worlds over Cloud9 or Team Liquid. But they made it. Once at Worlds, very few expected them to make a dent. Not only did they make a dent, they took down the number one LPL seed in Bilibili Gaming. They made the world take notice and can hold their heads high after the final heist.
Worlds 2025: 100 Thieves Player Review

Dhokla
Total Apex Rating – 6.4 (tied 4th among top laners, tied 20th among players)
Champions Played
- Ambessa (2)
- K’Sante
- Rumble
- Sion
Dhokla had a Cinderella story of a year. After not being on a team, he helped 100 Thieves get to Worlds. At the international event, he delivered quality performances. He was instrumental in taking down BLG and held his own against T1. Dhokla survived multiple T1 dives and found the perfect engagement angles on Ambessa. His social media game was on point. Dhokla far exceeded expectations.
River
Total Apex rating – 5.6 (12th among junglers, tied 52nd among players)
Champions Played
- Pantheon (2)
- Vi
- Wukong
- Xin Zhao
In some of the games, River did not perform to his expectations. Granted, those came against Canyon and Peanut. However, in their matches against BLG and T1, River delivered. He was pivotal to the success of 100T. Unfortunately, he will be in military service in 2026. It felt like his career ended as soon as he gained momentum.
Quid
Total Apex rating – 5.8 (12th among mid laners, tied 48th among players)
Champions Played
- Taliyah (2)
- Akali
- Aurora
- Sylas
Quid’s rating does not display some of his outstanding performances at Worlds. Similar to River, he struggled to perform against GenG and HLE. But in the other series, he made the world take notice of him. He capped off his performance with a solo kill on Faker in game one. Quid instantly became a hot property on the NA market, thanks to his performance.
FBI
Total Apex rating – 5.0 (15th among bot laners, tied 71st among players)
Champions Played
- Kai’Sa (2)
- Senna
- Varus
- Ziggs
FBI started off Worlds with a dominant Ziggs performance, but tailed off. He struggled to make his mark against the three LCK teams. His mistakes in game one against T1 contributed to 100T’s loss. Getting caught too many times by Faker, while having Flash, proved costly. Besides that first performance, he lived up to expectations.
Eyla
Total Apex rating – 5.0 (12th among supports, tied 71st among players)
Champions Played
- Alistar (2)
- Rell (2)
- Rakan
Elya had a stable Worlds performance. He was not the main character, nor a problem on the roster. Some may have expected him to perform better. However, when competing against three of the best LCK supports, he held his own.
100 Thieves Team Review
100T had the unfortunate luck of facing only Eastern teams. While BLG was not the powerhouse many expected, 100T stepped up. Had they gotten the same draw as FlyQuest, perhaps they could have qualified for the Bracket Stage. Of course, that is the benefit of being a first seed. The players can hold their heads up high after defeating BLG and pushing T1 in their series.
