Destiny 2 Episode Weapons to Farm for the Edge of Fate

The Edge of Fate expansion will see the Episodic weapons taken out of the farming pool for Destiny 2. There are some weapons that players should have going into the new expansion. Below is a list of weapons you should consider getting in the coming weeks. As a whole, we recommend grabbing the three Exotic weapons and their catalysts. While players will likely have opportunities in the future to get them, it is easier to do so now in Destiny 2 than later.

Destiny 2 Episode: Echoes Weapons

Fortunately for Echoes weapons, players can craft most of them to get the best perks. We recommended you focus on getting Aberrant Action and Lost Signal, but if you can get the patterns for other weapons, do so.

Aberrant Action – Rocket Assisted Solar Sidearm

Rocket-assisted frame Sidearms have been the craze throughout the Final Shape expansion. One that has dominated the meta since its release is Aberrant Action. The perks you want to craft on this Sidearm are Heal Clip and Incandescent. Heal Clip provides significant sustain to players in all content. Incandescent may fall off in higher-end content, but it remains solid everywhere to clear rooms of enemies.

  • Barrel: Quick Launch
  • Magazine: Flared Magwell
  • Left Column: Heal Clip
  • Right Column: Incandescent
  • Masterwork: Reload Speed

Lost Signal – Area Denial Stasis Grenade Launcher

Along with Rocket Assisted Sidearms, Area Denial Grenade Launchers have dominated the PvE meta. Lost Signal was the first of its kind and is a craftable weapon. Auto-Loading Holster is the vital perk on this Grenade Launcher, allowing you to swap between it and your other weapons. Vorpal Weapon or One For All is the choice in the right column, depending on whether you want it for damage rotations or all-around play.

  • Barrel: Quick Launch
  • Magazine: High-Velocity Rounds
  • Left Column: Auto-Loading Holster
  • Right Column: Vorpal Weapon/One For All
  • Masterwork: Handling

Destiny 2 Episode: Revenant Weapons

At the beginning of Episode: Revenant, Bungie did away with craftable seasonal weapons in Destiny 2. Fortunately, there is not an abundance of weapons to farm. Focus on the more important ones and pick up the others along the way where you can.

Bitter/Sweet – Adaptive Arc Heavy Grenade Launcher

There are not many Arc Heavy Grenade Launchers in the game. Bitter/Sweet is by far the best we have available. It gets one of the best damage perk combos in Destiny 2 with Envious Arsenal and Bait and Switch. Its Origin Trait does not help with boss damage, so it is a weaker version than that of VS Chill Inhibitor.

  • Barrel: Quick Launch
  • Magazine: Spike Grenades
  • Left Column: Envious Arsenal
  • Right Column: Bait and Switch
  • Masterwork: Velocity

Chroma Rush – Rapid-Fire Kinetic Auto Rifle

Chroma Rush is a long-time fan favorite among many players, and it is no wonder, given its potency. With its re-addition during Episode: Echoes, it became better. The Origin Trait and the new perk Kinetic Tremors made Chroma Rush a dream for all players. Subsistence is still the go-to perk in the left column.

  • Barrel: Arrowhead Brake
  • Magazine: Accurised Rounds
  • Left Column: Subsistence
  • Right Column: Kinetic Tremors
  • Masterwork: Range

Destiny 2 Episode: Heresy Weapons

The weapons from Heresy are better overall than Revenant, but are not that important to chase. There are a couple of weapons that stand out above the rest, which we recommend you farm.

Adamantite – Support Strand Auto Rifle

Support Auto Rifles have been at the top of the Destiny 2 higher-end content meta. Almost every player is seen running them during contest raids and dungeons. We recommend you snag this one, as it is the only top slot Support Frame. Reciprocity and Circle of Life are recommended for their support capabilities.

  • Barrel: Corkscrew Rifling
  • Magazine: Accurized Rounds
  • Left Column: Reciprocity
  • Right Column: Circle of Life
  • Masterwork: Range

Psychopomp Area Denial Arc Grenade Launcher

Similar to Lost Signal, Psychopomp is one of the best PvE weapons in the game. While it may fall off in the next expansion with Bolt Charge losing artifact perks, it will remain viable. Envious Arsenal and Rolling Storm are the current best perks, but if Rolling Storm falls off, it can be replaced with Elemental Honing.

  • Barrel: Quick Launch
  • Magazine: High-Velocity Rounds:
  • Left Column: Envious Arsenal
  • Right Column: Rolling Storm/Elemental Honing
  • Masterwork: Handling
