Destiny 2 Renegades Exotic Armor and Weapons
A couple of weeks back, content creators had the opportunity to visit Bungie HQ. They got a sneak peek at parts of the Destiny 2 Renegades expansion. The N/DA has lifted, and we have more information. Courtesy of the content creators, we have additional details on the Exotic weapons and armor. The Praxic Blade (Destiny 2’s Lightsaber) looks promising. There is more we will need to discover about the Blade when the expansion releases.
Destiny 2 Renegades Exotic Weapons
The Praxic Blade – Special Ammo Sword
The Praxic Blade is Destiny 2’s take on the iconic Lightsaber. Players will have a chance to customize the Blade. You can change the Blade’s color through crystals. There are other customization options (cores, catalysts, and mods) that will further enhance the Blade. The Blade has light and heavy attacks. You can throw the Blade and deflect projectiles. Players can combo three light attacks with a heavy attack for a new combo.
Heirloom – Special Ammo Combat Bow
The Heirloom Combat Bow is styled after Chewbacca’s Bow. It is a heat-generating weapon. Aiming down sights charges up the Combat Bow up to three stacks to deal bonus damage. Charging the Bow and firing it builds heat. You can charge two max damage shots before the weapon overheats. The catalyst allows the Bow to scorch and deal bonus damage to scorched targets. Two fully charged shots ignite a target.
Service of Luzaku
Service of Luzaku is a Strand-high-impact heavy ammo Machine Gun. It is unique, as it has fewer shots but deals more damage. The Machine Gun is the first heavy ammo support frame. Healing your allies will not consume ammo and reloads the weapon from reserves. You can also generate threadlings and threadlings to combine with your Strand-focused builds.
Destiny 2 Exotic Armor
Each class is getting an Exotic Armor piece in the Renegades expansion.
Praxic Vestment – Exotic Titan Chest Piece
You gain an air move jetpack. Weapon and Arc-powered melee final blows build up Jetpack Fuel. While airborne, airmove to charge your Jetpack. On release, activate your Jetpack with a forceful blast of exhausting Arc energy, then fly forward a short distance based on the amount charged. Collide with a combatant to unleash a blinding blast of energy and gain a temporary bonus to your melee stat.
Deimosuffusion – Exotic Warlock Helmet
While a Strand Super is equipped, casting Rift will suspend nearby enemies. Suspend deals damage over time, healing you in the process. Combatants who break free from suspension suffer additional damage. Defeating suspended targets heals you a moderate amount.
Fortune’s Favor – Exotic Hunter Boots
After landing a final blow while at full health, or when out of combat for an extended duration, your shields will slowly recharge into an overshield. When you have an overshield, your weapons gain increased accuracy, stability, handling, and damage against combatants, and final blows grant a short period of increased mobility once the overshield is depleted.
