Destiny 2 Renegades Walkthrough: Imperium
Destiny 2 Renegades is here. We start straight into the action, with a cutscene that Star Wars fans will recognise. After the cutscenes, it is time to get into the action. A new threat has captured Drifter, and it is up to you to save him. Below is the walkthrough guide on how to complete the Imperium mission of the Renegades campaign.
Destiny 2 Renegades Campaign: Arm Yourselves
You begin on the Derelict, grab all the ammo that you can, and head out. Your introduction to the Barant Imperium is through combat, as always. Cut through your foes and enter the middle building through the back window. Access the console to learn of the ship’s schematics. Follow the markers and take down the new Cabal enemies.
Ablative Armor Cabal
Ablative Armor Cabal are new enemies. These Cabal have a shield that lowers damage taken. Utilize the best weapons to break their shield and stun the combatants. We found Mint Retrograde to be effective. Continue to fight through the Barant Imperium as you follow the markers. Once you reach a large area with moving cargo transports, use them to traverse through and find the holes in the barrier. Past the second barrier, you will find a platform in the middle of the area with a console. Interact with it to activate a moving platform. Take the platform up to your marker.
Garbage Disposal
Another moment that Star Wars fans vividly remember. You are thrown into a Garbage Disposal with the walls closing in. Clear out the Thrall until you receive a prompt. You are required to shoot the Jammer above the door to stop the walls and open the door. You have now earned your first Rengades loot!
Freeing Drifter
You have arrived in the Prison blocks. Make your way to free Drifter. He is held in a Stasis block akin to Han Solo. Free him as you learn of the Nine’s involvement. Drifter is placed on a transport. Stay in the circle to progress the transport. Keep slaying Cabal as you move. At various points, you must interact with consoles to free the prisoners, and they will aid you in your fight. If you are in danger, take cover. The transport will not move, but you will not fail. Eventually, you will reach the Derelict.
Defend the Derelict
You must now hold against the Barant Imperium forces. These include Behemoths, which closely resemble Imperial Walkers. Defeat the Walkers to summon the pilots. Crush the rest of the combatants. Drifter gets out of his Stasis encasing shortly before a cutscene featuring a battle between Aunor and Bael.
Learning About the Tharsis Outpost and Lawless Frontiers
The following section has you running errands and listening to conversations. You will learn how the Lawless Frontier activity works and unlock Renegade abilities. You will use these for the rest of the campaign. Complete each Lawless Frontier mission type until you begin your second mission.
