Destiny 2 Reveals New Weapons and Gear for Renegades Expansion
The communication from Bungie has been limited regarding the next Destiny 2 expansion, Renegades. The promised roadmap has not come. Dmg has come out to say that there have been delays, and he is to blame for promising something that was not attainable. Bungie released a trailer yesterday, displaying the new Legendary and Exotic Weapons and Gear coming with Renegades on December 2nd.
Destiny 2 Renegades Legendary Weapons
The Renegades expansion will include at least six new Legendary weapons. These are likely to be earned from the new destination. The weapons are:
- All or Nothing – Pulse Rifle
- Compact Defender – Sidearm
- M-17 Faster Talker – Submachine Gun
- Modified B-7 Pistol Hand Cannon
- Refurbished A499 Heavy Sniper Rifle
- Uncivil Discourse Hand Cannon
Destiny 2 Renegades Exotic Gear
The trailer revealed five Exotics coming in the Renegades expansion. More Exotics may be shared at a later time. Each class is getting an Exotic in addition to two Weapons. The three Class Exotics are:
- Fortune’s Favor – Hunter Legs
- After landing a final blow while at full health, or when out of combat for an extended duration, your shields will recharge into an overshield.
- When you have any overshield, your weapons gain increased accuracy, stability, handling, and damage against combatants, and final blows will grant a short period of increased mobility once the overshield is depleted.
- Praxic Vestment – Titan Chestplate
- Gain an air move jetpack. Weapon and Arc-powered melee final blows build up Jetpack Fuel.
- Activate your jetpack while airborne with a forceful blast of exhausting Arc energy, then fly forward based on the amount charged. Collide with a combatant to unleash a blinding blast of energy and gain a temporary bonus to your melee stat.
- Deimossuffision – Warlock Helmet
- While a Strand Super is equipped, casting Rift will suspend nearby combatants. Suspend deals damage over time, healing you in the process. Combatants who break free from suspension suffer additional damage. Defeating suspended targets heals you a moderate amount.
The two Exotic Weapons are likely to be in the heavy slot, but Bungie could change that.
- Praxic Blade – Sword
- Destiny 2’s Lightsaber
- Heirloom – Combat Bow
Destiny 2 Roadmap Delayed
Originally, Bungie intended to drop a roadmap shortly after their livestream, almost two months ago. Dmg took to X yesterday to apologize for the delay. He has also taken the blame, having promised communication earlier than the team could have executed on. Hopefully, we will get more communication on the roadmap in the coming weeks.
