Destiny 2 Equilibrium Dungeon Banned List Knocks Heavy Hitters
The World’s First Race for the Equilibrium Dungeon in Destiny 2 is around the corner. In the recent TWID, Bungie announced the disabled items for the race, as well as reiterated the rules for World’s First. Players will be upset to see two new weapons disabled for the race. Uncivil Discourse and Refurbished A499 are among the weapons that players will not be able to use in the Equilibrium Dungeon.
Equilibrium Dungeon Disabled List
The disabled list for the Equilibrium race is short, but it will affect many players’ plans for Contest Mode. Bungie may add further items if they discover other issues. The list is as follows:
- Artifact Perks
- Anti-Barrier Sniper Rifle
- Kinetic Rupture
- Abilities
- Widows Silk (Aspect for Hunters)
- Weapons
- The Navigator (Exotic Trace Rifle) Catalyst
- Refurbished A499 (Sniper Rifle)
- Uncivil Discourse (Hand Cannon)
- All Volatile Mods
- Mods can still be slotted, but they add no benefit in the Dungeon.
Entry Requirements

For players to launch the Equilibrium Dungeon on Contest Mode, they must meet specific requirements. The requirements, as detailed by Bungie, are as follows:
- Must own the Renegades expansion.
- Fireteam leader needs to have progressed their Dungeon introductory pursuit (titled The Way Between) to at least step 2.
- The Equilibrium introductory Pursuit is acquired from Aunor in the Cantina of Tharsis Outpost after completing Step 5 of the Renegades pursuit.
- A fireteam of three players is needed to launch the activity.
- Fireteam Power will be disabled during Contest Mode, and players are recommended to have a minimum of 370 Power level. Players below that will see their damage output reduced against the combatants and will receive increased damage from them.
Players wanting to race must follow the stream guidelines. They can use the stream overlay provided by Bungie. Otherwise, their created overlay must follow similar dimensions. They are required to submit so that Bungie can follow their stream and ensure they match the rules. At least one player must stream for a player to win World’s First while following the guidelines provided by Bungie.
NotSwap Clarification
NotSwap for the Equilibrium Dungeon will have a different behavior. The ammo type trigger is removed alongside the Orb and Special/Heavy ammo penalties. Changing armor stat mods still applies and is now added to the tooltip.
Tharsis Armor Farm
Players discovered that one of the Fallen Dregs gave armor with 40+ in one stat. Bungie released a patch earlier that lowered the stat count of those armor pieces. They have also fixed the Dreg so that it does not give out too many pieces at a time.
