M-17 Fast Talker God Roll Guide In Destiny 2

M-17 Fast Talker is one of the Heat Weapons added in Destiny 2 through the Renegades expansion. There are not many Stasis Submachine Guns worth using in the current sandbox. It should become the best-in-slot for Stasis Submachine Guns. As a Renegades Weapon, it has a chance to drop already masterworked with a different Origin Trait.

M-17 Fast Talker Information

M-17 Fast Talker is a Balanced Stasis Submachine Gun. Heat Weapons do not have a reload. Instead, every shot generates Heat. You can press the reload key to vent the weapon. It will automatically vent when not fired, stowed, or overheated. Does it have the perks to become a mainstay in the Destiny 2 meta?

PvE God Roll

M-17 Fast Talker has decent perks to help it be competitive in the sandbox. With it being a Stasis weapon, it lacks the Area of Effect perks like Incandescent and Destabilizing Rounds to be effective. Crystaline Corpsebloom is a new perk added in Renegades. It is the most effective perk in terms of ad control for Stasis weapons. Spawning the crystal is significantly easier than requiring a critical hit kill like Headstone. Attrition Orbs is the best option in the third column. The Orb generation provides utility that many perks cannot. Demolitionist is the other perk you can choose, but that is more specific to grenade-centric builds.

PvP God Roll

Submachine Guns always struggle with one aspect in PvP: range. While they will never compete with other archetypes at range, we need to increase it as much as possible. Delicate Tuning helps to boost the range. It will become weaker for rapid kills, but it buffs the initial 1v1. Since Target Lock came to Submachine Guns, it has been the go-to perk for PvP. Players will remember The Immortal dominating the meta when it was released in Trials of Osiris.

Acquiring M-17 Fast Talker

M-17 Fast Talker drops from the Lawless Frontier and Renegades Campaign. Players can spend Dark Ingots at Syndicates, Credits at the weapons shop, and salvage at the local Vendors to acquire an M-17 Fast Talker. Only the weapons shop will guarantee a drop of the Submachine Gun.
