The game, which launched on December 6, 2024, quickly became a sensation and is now in its fourth season. The first annual “Rivals Day” celebration is set to reward dedicated players and give new ones a great reason to jump into the action.
The Anniversary Celebration event officially kicks off on November 27th. In a new video hosted by the game’s mascot, Galacta, NetEase outlined the festivities, which are centered around giving back to the community with a variety of in-game rewards.

To start the celebration, Marvel Rivals will feature daily login rewards throughout the event week. Players who log in each day can claim free Units, the in-game currency, with a total of 1500 Units available for those who participate every day. This amount is enough to purchase various mid-tier cosmetic items from the shop, making it a generous thank-you to the player base.
Additionally, a group-focused event called “Rivals Assemble!” will encourage players to team up with friends. By completing challenges together, squads can earn points to unlock even more free Unit rewards, promoting teamwork and community engagement.
Earn an Exclusive Legendary Jeff the Shark Skin
One of the most anticipated rewards is a brand-new Legendary Skin for the fan-favorite character, Jeff the Shark. The “Jeff the Business Shark” costume can be earned for free through the “Jeff’s Break Time” event. To unlock this adorable and exclusive skin, players will need to complete a series of in-game matches and tasks before the event concludes. This adorable outfit is already being highlighted as a must-have item for collectors.
