Voltaic Shade God Roll Guide in Destiny 2
Voltaic Shade is one of six weapons farmable in the Equilibrium Dungeon. The Arc Scout Rifle is part of the Heat Weapon Archetype and boasts a powerhouse perk pool. All Equilibrium Dungeon weapons are farmable for every encounter you clear, as well as all secret chests, which reset after every clear. Farming dungeon weapons has never been easier than it is in Equilibrium.
How to Farm Efficiently
If you want to have the best time farming specific weapons from the dungeon, complete the dungeon quest. Doing so will give you access to attunement. You can attune at the Praxic Temple near the first encounter area. You can also get tier five weapons if you do the dungeon with four feats active. You choose all of the feats except Cutthroat, as they do not heavily impact the time you will spend in the dungeon.
Voltaic Shade Information
Voltaic Shade is an Arc Balanced Scout Rifle in the Heat Weapon Archetype. It is one of the only weapons that can roll with Jolting Feedback and Voltshot in separate columns. As a Heat Weapon, it has innate bonus damage vs combatants.
Voltaic Shade Perks
Column 3
- Cooling Baubles, Delicate Tuning, Jolting Feedback, Trickle Charge, Rapid Hit, Shoot to Loot, Keep Away
Column 4
- Thermal Atomization, Voltshot, Rolling Storm, Frenzy, Precision Instrument, Desperate Measures, Meganeura
PvE God Roll
The obvious combination is Jolting Feedback and Voltshot. The double Jolt will make for impressive ad-clear, something that Scout Rifles often struggle with. However, the two together can feel like overkill. Instead, we recommend that you take Meganeura in the fourth column. Jolting Feedback should offer enough Jolt. Meganeura, on the other hand, is ideal for Scout Rifles. Scouts also shine in higher-end content, meaning you gain the benefit from multiple critical hits.
- Barrel: Chambered Compensator
- Battery: Ionised Heatsink
- Third Column: Jolting Feedback
- Fourth Column: Meganeura (alternative – Voltshot)
- Masterwork: Cooling Efficiency
- Origin Trait: Imperial Allegiance
PvP God Roll
Voltaic Shade is the ideal archetype for the Crucible, and it has the perks to boost it. There are two perks in the third column to choose from. Delicate Tuning is the best, as it has more use cases than Keep Away. However, either will get value. For the fourth column, we want Precision Instrument for the best time to kill. Frenzy often takes too long to activate, unless you are in an extended gunfight.
- Barrel: Chambered Compensator
- Battery: Ionised Heatsink
- Third Column: Delicate Tuning (alternative – Keep Away)
- Fourth Column: Precision Instrument
- Masterwork: Range
- Origin Trait: Imperial Allegiance
Acquiring Voltaic Shade
Voltaic Shade can drop from any encounter or secret chest with the attunement active. It is more likely to drop from the first two encounters.
