Xur is Selling Two God Roll Legendary Weapons in Destiny 2
Xur visits the Tower every weekend. He returned yesterday with two high-quality weapons. The God Roll Slammer and ideal Perfect Paradox with One-Two Punch form a part of his wares this weekend. If you were unable to acquire these rolls when they were unavailable previously, we highly recommend that you visit Xur. He will be in the Tower until reset on Tuesday, January 6th.
Xur’s Enticing Legendary Weapon Rolls

Xur’s Exotic Wares Have Shone Before

As is customary, Xur is selling Hawkmoon. This weekend’s version has Moving Target. It is a middle-of-the-road perk for the Hand Cannon. Other than that, he is selling Monte Carlo, Telesto, and the Queensbreaker. Monte Carlo is ideal for melee-centric builds. Queensbreaker was the dominant force in Episode: Heresy, and still proves a valuable option if you lack ranged Heavy options. Telesto is a fun Exotic that, at times, has had bugs that broke Destiny.
The two catalysts for sale are Ace of Spades and Le Monarque. Neither catalyst is pivotal to have for the Exotics, but both enhance their capabilities.
Xur’s Hunter Armor is Helpful
Xur is selling Liar’s Handshake and Cyrtarachne’s Facade. Both Exotics are useful in higher-end content. Liar’s provides bonus damage and survivability to melee-centric Arc/Prismatic builds. Cyrtarachne is about keeping you alive, granting Woven Mail when you use Grapple. Woven mail provides damage resistance to body hits. Both are replaceable by their Exotic Class Item counterparts, but a must-have if you do not have those rolls.
Niche Titan Exotics Available

Unfortunately, Titans do not have the best Exotics for sale. Helm of Saint-14 once had its time in the sun. However, since Ward of Dawn is not used in higher-end content, the Exotic is unused. Point Contact Brace is not terrible by any means. An Insurmountable Skullfort is a better option for Arc Titans, due to its healing capabilities.
Xur Understanding the Warlock Dominance
With Contraverse Hold taking over the current meta, Xur wants nothing to do with that. His Warlock Exotics this week are nothing to write home about. Astroctye Verse is only for Warlocks wanting to use Blink. Rime-coat Raiment is a niche but useful Exotic. Unfortunately, similar to the Point-Contact Brace, other options take precedence over it. Stasis Warlock is also not in a good spot meta-wise in the Renegades sandbox.
Xur’s Other Goods
Each class can get their hands on random rolls of the Exotic Class Item. You have to complete the Dual Destiny mission once on a class to buy their Class Item. Players can purchase resources like an Exotic Cipher, Ascendant Alloys, Enhancement Cores, Glimmer, Rally Banners, Strange Gift, and a Favor of the Nine.
Xur is Here For a Limited Time
As a reminder, Xur is only in the Tower with these wares until Tuesday’s reset. If you want to get your hands on any of his gear, be sure to visit him before that point.
