Zealous Ideal God Roll Guide in Destiny 2

Zealous Ideal is one of the most sought-after weapons from the Equilibrium Dungeon. The sound of the weapon, along with its perks, makes for a dream combination. Each encounter and the secret chests have a chance to drop Zealous Ideal. The chests reset every run, allowing for infinite farming. Equilibrium is the first Destiny 2 dungeon in history to have feats to increase your weapon tier.

How to Farm Efficiently

If you want to have the best time farming specific weapons from the dungeon, complete the dungeon quest. Doing so will give you access to attunement. You can attune at the Praxic Temple near the first encounter area. You can also get tier five weapons if you do the dungeon with four feats active. You choose all of the feats except Cutthroat, as they do not heavily impact the time you will spend in the dungeon.

Zealous Ideal Information

Zealous Ideal is a Solar Balanced Auto Rifle in the Heat Weapon Archetype. As a Heat Weapon, having a perk like Heal Clip makes it ideal. You only need to vent the weapon to activate the perk. As a Heat Weapon, it has innate bonus damage vs combatants.

• Cooling Baubles, Delicate Tuning, Heal Clip, Zen Moment, Gutshot Straight, Attrition Orbs, Dynamic Sway Reduction

Column 4

• Thermal Atomization, Onslaught, Adagio, One For All, Tap the Trigger, Burning Ambition, Incandescent

PvE God Roll

As already mentioned, Heal Clip is incredible for this weapon. One quick vent and you heal back the majority of your health bar. It will pair well with Incandescent for the Solar synergy. However, there is one other combination. Credit to LlamaD2 for his suggestion. Gutshot Straight will significantly boost the damage of your body shots. You will land more body shots than precision hits with an Auto Rifle. The other perk is Onslaught. At 450 RPM, Zealous Ideal has a low fire rate, but Onslaught ramps it up significantly. If you want a more supportive perk, Attrition Orbs can work in the third column.

PvP God Roll

Zealous Ideal has a few perks to choose from for the Crucible. Delicate Tuning is the best choice in the third column. However, Dynamic Sway Reduction is a great secondary option. For the fourth column, it will depend on playstyle. Tap the Trigger is better for consistent accuracy, while Onslaught will decrease your time to kill on multi-kills. Be sure to pair Onslaught with Ionized Heatsink.

Acquiring Zealous Ideal

Zealous Ideal can drop from any encounter or secret chest with the attunement active. It is more likely to drop from the first encounter.
