Disney Dreamlight Valley is preparing to welcome its players to a new realm. The simulation game has captivated players, allowing them to hang out with their favorite Disney and Pixar characters while doing day-to-day activities. With such a huge library of stories, players often request certain movies be added to the game. One of the most popular franchises from the company is making its way into the game soon. Aladdin has been announced and is coming to the Valley on February 26.
Disney Dreamlight Valley To Add Aladdin Characters
It isn’t just the titular character that is coming to the game. Princess Jasmine will also be added to the Valley, and Flying Carpet will be a companion players can use. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen characters from this movie. The villain Jafar made an appearance in A Rift in Time expansion from 2023. It remains to be seen how these two characters will interact with Jafar as Gameloft has been very tight-lipped.
The Tales of Agrabah storyline will have players interacting with mysterious sandstorms that are plaguing the homes of many characters in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Once the sandstorms have been taken care of, Aladdin and Jasmine can move into the Valley, where they will have their own Quests and friendship rewards. Players will be able to get clothes inspired by characters in the movie, and a new stall will appear where players can purchase a rotating set of Gemstones daily.
Future Updates
This is the first of three free updates that are planned for Disney Dreamlight Valley in 2025. Following the February update, a spring update will be released, and many believe they already know the next movie Gameloft is tapping into. Alice In Wonderland is what many are predicting based on the road map the game has provided to players. The summer release will stick with the classic Disney theme, bringing in the characters from Peter Pan. The image on the road map is the infamous location, Skull Rock.
Summertime will be a busy time for players of Disney Dreamlight Valley. The summer update will coincide with the second half of The Storybook Vale event, which has players facing off against one of the worst villains in Disney history, Maleficent. This doesn’t include any paid expansions Gameloft will be releasing throughout the year. There has never been a better time to hop into the game. Even if you aren’t a massive Disney fan, there is still plenty to love. This is a game where players can get lost in the world, relax, and have an escape from their day-to-day life. February 26 is a week away and players are already eager to travel off to Agrabah.
