While this area is not a crucial part of the game’s main story, it may be visited in multiple sidequests, including “Randolph Safehouse” and “To the Mattresses.” The wreckage can be chosen as a random target for these sidequests and will usually harbor story-related enemies. When the player first approaches the area, they will observe the remains of the FMS Northern Star run aground with a ruptured hull. Scattered around are its freight, mostly old shipping containers.
Finding the Agility Bobblehead
There are numerous enemies inhabiting the dilapidated ship. The destroyed hull has become a Mirelurk nest as well as a maze of assorted containers and debris. On the upper decks, a group of Norwegian ghoul raiders have established a base of operations. The upper deck is outfitted with automated turrets and tin can alarms that will reveal your location to the raiders when triggered. To find the Agility Bobblehead, your goal will be to make it to the ruined ship’s bow. Multiple paths can be taken but the most basic is entering the ship’s broken hull and navigating through the innards. It is not a long journey but will be perilous due to the enemies present.
After reaching the upper decks, you’ll find a pilothouse on the eastern side. Inside is an Expert-level terminal, so ensure you have the requisite hacking skills before breaking into it. Hacking the terminal will allow you to deactivate the raiders’ turrets and spotlights, making it much easier to mow them down. Fend off any enemies and make your way to the living area on the western side of the ship towards the bow. The head honcho of the raiders, Rags, will await you in the upper shack of this area. Once Rags has been dispatched, the bobblehead can be found at the tip of a plank on the ship’s bow near some barbed wire.
