All Beautiful Amiibo From The Legend of Zelda in 2024

The Legend of Zelda

Back in 2014, Nintendo announced its interactive toy figurine called Amiibo. These were created to interact with the Wii U and, more specifically, Super Smash Bros. on the Wii U system. Nintendo proceeded to release waves of the figurines for the next 10 years and recently announced that more Amiibo are still to come. A

Amiibo, specifically The Legend of Zelda Amiibo, is back in the news with the release of The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, as they give players special rewards when used in the game. With that in mind, let’s take a look at all of the Legend of Zelda Amiibo that have been released since the announcement and some of the exclusive items you can get in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom using all the different figurines!

Every Legend of Zelda Amiibo

Let’s take a look at the figures we got in the early Amiibo days! There are five Zelda Amiibo that were released as part of the Super Smash Bros series. My favorite detail about the Super Smash Bros. Amiibo is that they stand on a gold Super Smash Bros. symbol resembling the trophies you can collect in Super Smash Bros. Melee.  Each Zelda amiibo can unlock an exclusive item in Breath of the Wild or Tears of the Kingdom, depending on which character’s amiibo you use.

Link (Super Smash Bros. Series)

Link was among the first 12 Amiibo that was released in late November 2014 and is modeled after his Twilight Princess version. The first time you use this amiibo in Breath of the Wild or Tears of the Kingdom, you will get Epona, which you can register and keep! After the first time you use the figurine, you will then receive fruit, veggies, and arrows as the reward. The exclusive items you can unlock are the Twilight Princess Cap, Tunic, and Trousers one at a time and at random, or the Mirror of Twilight Paraglider Fabric (only in Tears of the Kingdom).

Zelda (Super Smash Bros. Series)

Zelda was another early Amiibo released, not as one of the original twelve but as part of Wave 2, and is modeled after her Twilight Princess version. If you use this Zelda amiibo while playing Breath of the Wild or Tears of the Kingdom, you can receive herbs, fruit, and veggies, and the chest will contain a bow, a random gem. The exclusive item you can unlock is the Twilight Bow or the Princess of Twilight Paraglider Fabric (only in Tears of the Kingdom).

Sheik (Super Smash Bros. Series)

Sheik was released with the third wave of Amiibo at the start of 2015 and is modeled after the Sheik we meet in Ocarina of Time. If you use this Sheik amiibo while playing Breath of the Wild or Tears of the Kingdom, you will receive different types of mushrooms, truffles, and arrows, and the chest will contain a weapon, shield, or a random set of special arrows. The exclusive item you can unlock is Sheik’s Mask, which Link can wear, or the Sheik Paraglider Fabric (only in Tears of the Kingdom)!

Toon Link (Super Smash Bros. Series)

Toon Link was also released with the third wave of amiibo and is modeled after Wind Waker. If you use this Toon Link amiibo while playing either of the aforementioned titles, you will receive different types of fish, and the chest will contain a weapon, a random set of special arrows, the Sea-Breeze Boomerang, or the Sea-Breeze Shield. The exclusive items you can unlock are the Wind Waker Cap, Tunic, and Trousers one at a time and at random, or the King of Red Lions Paraglider Fabris (only in Tears of the Kingdom).

Ganondorf (Super Smash Bros. Series)

Nintendo must have felt that they spoiled us with two Zelda amiibo in Wave 3 because they waited until Wave 6 to release Ganondorf. Like Link and Zelda, he is modeled after his Twilight Princess version. If you use this Ganondorf amiibo while playing Breath of the Wild or Tears of the Kingdom, you will receive arrows, rupees, and Bokoblin guts, and the chest will have a weapon, a random gem. The exclusive item you can unlock is the Sword of Six Sages or Demon King Paraglider Fabric (only in TOTK).

Young Link (Super Smash Bros Series)

Young Link was released in 2019 as another Smash Bros amiibo. If you use this amiibo while playing the two games, you will receive different types of meat, and the chest will have a weapon or a random set of special arrows. The exclusive item you can unlock is the Ocarina of Time Cap, Tunic, or Trousers, or if you’re lucky, Biggeron’s Sword.

The Legend of Zelda Series

After Ganondorf was announced, we had a bit of a drought for The Legend of Zelda amiibo as there were no more Zelda fighters in Super Smash Bros. Wii U. A couple of months later Nintendo announced the special edition of Twilight Princess HD was released for the Wii U which restarted The Legend of Zelda series of Amiibo. These Amiibo stand on a beautiful gold stand with the Hyrule Crest on the base.

Wolf Link (The Legend of Zelda Series)

Wolf Link was the first amiibo released for the Legend of Zelda series alongside Twilight Princess HD and is one of the heavier Amiibo as it features two characters: Wolf Link standing with Midna riding on his back. When using this amiibo in Breath of the Wild, you will receive Wolf Link as your sidekick who will fight by you for a limited time. In Tears of the Kingdom, this amiibo will give you different types of meat and the Mirror of Twilight Paraglider Fabric.

Ocarina of Time Link (The Legend of Zelda Series)

Ocarina of Time Link was released for the 30th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda and is modeled after a piece of official artwork from the original game. This amiibo unlocks all of the same items that the Young Link amiibo unlocks, as they are both based on Link from Ocarina of Time.

8-Bit Link (The Legend of Zelda Series)

8-Bit Link is another amiibo that was released for the 30th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda and is one of the heavier amiibo. If used in Breath of the Wild or Tears of the Kingdom, you will receive arrows and rupees. The chest will have a random sword, shield, or a random set of special arrows. The exclusive items you can unlock are the Cap of the Hero, Tunic of the Hero, Trousers of the Hero, Sword of the Hero, or the Pixel Paraglider Fabric (only in Tears of the Kingdom).

Wind Waker Toon Link (The Legend of Zelda Series)

Wind Waker Toon Link and Zelda were originally released as a two-pack in December 2016. This amiibo unlocks all of the same items that the Toon Link Smash Bros amiibo unlocks, as they are both based on Link from Wind Waker.

Wind Waker Zelda (The Legend of Zelda Series)

Wind Waker Zelda is modeled after Princess Zelda in Wind Waker. If used in Breath of the Wild or Tears of the Kingdom, you will receive herbs, and the chest will have a random gem or shield. The exclusive item you can unlock is the Sea Breeze Shield or the Bygone Royal Paraglider Fabric (only in TOTK).

Breath of the Wild

If you didn’t know, Breath of the Wild was the last game to be released for the Wii U, so Nintendo thought of going out with a bang and revealed five Breath of the Wild-inspired figurines that would be released alongside the game. While these Amiibo are still part of the Legend of Zelda Series, I felt it was important to note how big of a launch this was as it was closing out a huge chapter for Nintendo.

Bokoblin (The Legend of Zelda Series)

Bokoblin was one of the five Amiibo set to release alongside Breath of the Wild. If used in Breath of the Wild or Tears of the Kingdom, you will get different types of meat and Bokoblin guts. There is no exclusive item for this amiibo in BOTW, but you can receive a Bokoblin Paraglider Fabric in Tears of the Kingdom.

Guardian (The Legend of Zelda Series)

The incredible Guardian Amiibo is one of the most intricate ones that has been released to date. It is bigger than most and has adjustable arms. If used in Breath of the Wild, you will get ancient materials and gems, while the chest can give you a special guardian item. In Tears of the Kingdom, you can get arrows and iron boxes of random materials. The chest can have a random rusty weapon, an ancient blade, or the Ancient Sheikah Paraglider Fabric (only in TOTK).

Archer Link (The Legend of Zelda Series)

Archer Link features Link shooting a bow and arrow with an ancient arrow and a gust of air as support. If used in BOTW, you will get some fish and meat. The chest can give you a random bow and a random set of special arrows. If used in Tears of the Kingdom, you will get some fish and meat, while the chest can give you an ancient blade or the Tunic of Memories Paraglider Fabric.

Rider Link (The Legend of Zelda Series)

Rider Link is Link riding a horse while wearing the Hylian Hood you can get in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. If used in Breath of the Wild or Tears of the Kingdom, you will get different types of mushrooms, while the chest can have a random weapon or a random set of special arrows. The exclusive items you can get in Breath of the Wild are the Traveler’s Bridle or the Traveler’s Saddle, and in Tears of the Kingdom, you can get the Hylian Hood Paraglider Fabric.

Zelda (The Legend of Zelda Series)

Zelda was the last of the five figurines released alongside Breath of the Wild and is modeled after that game’s Princess Zelda. If used in Breath of the Wild or Tears of the Kingdom, you will get herbs and veggies, while the chest can give you a random shield, gemstone, or even the rare Star Fragment. There is no exclusive item with this Amiibo in Breath of the Wild, but if used in Tears of the Kingdom, you can get the Hyrule Princess Paraglider Fabric.

Three Links

Majora’s Mask Link (The Legend of Zelda Series)

Majora’s Mask Link was released in 2017, and like the Ocarina of Time Link, Amiibo is modeled after a piece of official artwork from the original game. There really wasn’t a special reason we got these two amiibo, as there was no game announcement, but no one complained about getting a little spoiled by Nintendo. If used in Breath of the Wild or Tears of the Kingdom, you can unlock the Fierce Deity Mask, Boots, Armor, or Sword, or the Majora’s Mask Paraglider Fabric (only in TOTK).

Skyward Sword Link (The Legend of Zelda Series)

Skyward Sword Link was released alongside Majora’s Mask Link and Twilight Princess Link Amiibo for no special reason in 2017 (Skyward Sword for the Nintendo Switch wasn’t announced until 2021) and is modeled after Link in Skyward Sword. If used in Breath of the Wild or Tears of the Kingdom, you can unlock the Cap, Tunic, Trousers, or White Sword of the Sky, or the Sword Spirit Paraglider Fabric (only in Tears of the Kingdom).

Twilight Princess Link (The Legend of Zelda Series)

Twilight Princess Link was released alongside Majora’s Mask and Skyward Sword Link Amiibo in 2017. This one unlocks all of the same items that the Super Smash Bros Link amiibo unlocks, as they are both based on Link from Twilight Princess.

Four Champions

Shortly after the release of Breath of the Wild, Nintendo kept the Zelda train going by releasing Amiibo figurines of the four champions who help Link fight Calamity Ganon. These four came as a set when originally announced, and can usually be found as single Amiibo nowadays.

Daruk (The Legend of Zelda Series)

The Daruk amiibo features our Goron Champion wielding the oh-so-helpful Stone Smasher weapon. When used in Breath of the Wild or Tears of the Kingdom, you will get various gemstones, rock salt, and flint, while the chest can give you a diamond or a stone smasher weapon. The exclusive item is the Vah Rudania Divine Helm or the Goron Champion Paraglider Fabric (only in Tears of the Kingdom).

Mipha (The Legend of Zelda Series)

The Mipha Amiibo features our Zora Champion wielding her Ceremonial Trident. If used in the two games, you will get different types of fish, while the chest can give you a silver scale spear or a diamond. The exclusive item is the Vah Ruta Divine Helm or the Zora Champion Paraglider Fabric (only in Tears of the Kingdom).

Revali (The Legend of Zelda Series)

The Revali Amiibo features our Rito Champion wielding the very pretty Great Eagle Bow. If used in Breath of the Wild or Tears of the Kingdom, you will get different types of fruit, while the chest can give you the Falcon Bow or a diamond. The exclusive item is the Vah Medoh Divine Helm or the Rito Champion Paraglider Fabric, which is only for TOTK.

Urbosa (The Legend of Zelda Series)

The Urbosa figurine has the Gerudo Champion striking a pose and wielding both the Radiant Rhield and the Scimitar of the Seven. When used in Breath of the Wild or Tears of the Kingdom, you will get different types of meat, while the chest can give you a Moonlight Scimitar, Radiant Shield, or a diamond. The exclusive item is the Vah Naboris Divine Helm or the Gerudo Champion Paraglider Fabric (only in Tears of the Kingdom).

Last But Not Least

Here are the last couple of Legend of Zelda-inspired Amiibo! For now, at least, as Nintendo did announce, there are more amiibo to come, so if you’re anything like me, prepare your wallets! Since these amiibo were released well after Breath of the Wild, you can’t get any special or exclusive items from using these in Breath of the Wild, but you still get an exclusive item when using these Amiibo in Tears of the Kingdom!

Link’s Awakening Link (The Legend of Zelda Series)

Echoes of Wisdom

Link’s Awakening Link was announced alongside the Link’s Awakening Remaster and features our favorite hero in a cute cartoony style different than the Toon Link we usually see.  If used in Tears of the Kingdom, you can get arrows and barrels of materials (or explosives), while the chest can have a weapon. The exclusive item you can get with this amiibo is the Mask, Tunic, or Trousers of Awakening, or the Egg Paraglider Fabric.

Zelda and Loftwing (The Legend of Zelda Series)

The Zelda and Loftwing amiibo was released alongside Skyward Sword HD in 2021 and is one of the heavier amiibo as it features two characters. If used in Tears of the Kingdom, you can get different types of herbs and gems, while the chest can give you a random bow. The exclusive item you can get is the Goddess Paraglider Fabric.

Tears of the Kingdom Link (The Legend of Zelda Series)

The Tears of the Kingdom Link amiibo was released alongside Tears of the Kingdom in 2023. If used in Tears of the Kingdom, you can get different types of mushrooms, while the chest can give you a sword. The exclusive item you can get is the Champion’s Leathers Paraglider Fabric.

Tears of the Kingdom Zelda (The Legend of Zelda Series)

The Tears of the Kingdom Zelda amiibo was released alongside TOTK Ganon in late 2023. The first time you use this amiibo in Tears of the Kingdom, you can get different types of herbs and veggies, and the chest will give you the exclusive Princess Zelda Paraglider Fabric.

Tears of the Kingdom Ganon (The Legend of Zelda Series)

The Tears of the Kingdom Ganon amiibo was released alongside Tears of the Kingdom Zelda in late 2023. The first time you use this amiibo in Tears of the Kingdom, you can get different types of meat, and the chest will give you the exclusive Gerudo-King Paraglider Fabric.

In Conclusion

That’s 28 amiibo we have from The Legend of Zelda so far! Fortunately, it was just Zelda as the list of all Amiibo that Nintendo has released runs over 800.  That includes figures, cards, and amiibo that have been announced, and with Nintendo’s surprising Splatoon 3 amiibo announcement last month, I think it’s safe to say new amiibo are going to keep on coming.
