A new AMD graphics card is planned to launch this year in July of 2024. This graphics card is known as the Radeon RX 7650(M) XT, made in the Radeon RX 7000 series with superior visual graphics. However, it’s planning to launch as an external GPU instead of a discrete GPU. Not much, or little information, was mentioned regarding a specific date in July or the specifications for the graphics card at the moment, but there’s still some info to dive into.
AOOSTAR Unveils New External Graphics Card
AOOSTAR sells numerous mini PCs for the AMD Ryzen 7/9 series and other chip-based products. A bit of a reveal was sourced from the discord server of AOOSTAR, a computer hardware manufacturer specializing in mini-PCs. It was mentioned by AOOSTAR that there is a possible release of a new Radeon graphics card from AMD that’s coming this July, known as the AMD Radeon RX 7650(M) XT. This new product that AOOSTAR revealed seems to be much smaller than any other graphics card, as it is in the form of an external GPU.
Product Info So Far
Not much information is known from the manufacturer about the specifications of the new graphics card. So far, it’s only known as an external GPU, a smaller graphics card, and much more mobile, similar to the OneXPlayer. It was mentioned by AOOSTAR that they are planning several specifications for the product to be released. Maybe a later announcement could be made regarding more information about the product.

Compared to Other Radeon GPUs
In comparison to other Radeon GPUs, the Radeon RX 7650(M) XT is of course external, visually harboring its unique form. Other GPUs are discrete, being separate from the processor, or CPU. However, a graphics card of this caliber would probably be a small upgrade in performance rather than just graphics, while it maintains a size smaller than other Radeon graphics cards.
