Hoyoverse has given a very special look at Astra Yao for Zenless Zone Zero. With her came a closer look at her design and beautiful voice as we got a taste of her singing in the finality of the trailer.

Astra Yao – Voice of an Angel

Astra Yao comes out walking Sixth Street. As we see another agent, looks like she is keeping an eye on Astra. Hoyo has been known to foreshadow their agents in one way or another. Astra was no different as she could be seen around Sixth Street on posters, being a celebrity, usually with a microphone in front of her. So when the trailer dropped it was at no surprise that she was a singer at the end.

She is proudly walking the streets in her white and red dress. As the trailer cuts to another agent, she hides away and speaks into her coms, saying “Target detected” but in the next scene she announces “I’ve never hesitated to fight for you.” While most is still unknown, it’s not wrong to say that she could be after the Proxies and not Astra. As the Proxies were once the famous Phaethon, they more than likely have a target on their back once words start to spread about as they regain their fame.

The trailer then cuts to Section 6 as they fight hollows, we can see Yanagi, Miyabi, Harumasa, and Soukaku. Giving us another taste at 1.4 as it releases in less than a week (at the time this article was written.) We see new enemies and even new locations. Maybe it’s a bit late to say, but hopefully, 1.4 will give us a taste of what is to come with Astra.

The trailer cuts to a stage, where we get to witness, Astra Yao’s singing. Her voice is beautiful and majestic as it reaches out with a company of pianos. We see visual effects as she sings, which reminds me of Robin in Honkai: Star Rail. She will probably be a Support Agent if she follows the same suit as Robin. As we finally get a moment of Astra Yao, it makes me excited to see the new additions to the game.
