It’s showtime! Beetlejuice is joining Multiversus to help advertise the upcoming sequel Beetlejuice Beetlejuice coming to theaters on September 6, 2024.

The newest fighter to the Multiversus roster is the man, the myth, the legend himself: Beetlejuice! He is an Assassin character type making him faster than other character types such as Bruisers and Tanks. He has two special moves: Hammer Slammer and Whatdayathinkofthis. Hammer Slammer causes his arms to charge up and smack down becoming two hammers. Whatdayathinkofthis features him ripping his face off and showcasing some tentacles coming out from his face.

You can get Beetlejuice in his infamous black and white suit or one of his two variants: Circuit Drone, a black suit lined in blue, purple, and pink accents; Matador Beetlejuice, a black matador outfit with flower detailing. In the Gameplay Trailer released on the Multiversus YouTube page, we also see a slew of other characters wearing black and white skins similar to his suit.  Could this mean we’re getting new skins for some fighters or a look at what the rift holds in store?

You can unlock Beetlejuice with fighter currency, and is currently available for Gleamium and character ticket purchase!  You are also able to access the “Ghost with the Toast” PvE Rift today while the “Crisis in Townsville” Rift is set to release later this season.

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice

This is a great way to help advertise the upcoming sequel to the iconic 1988 movie, not that it needed the extra publicity boost. Winona Ryder, Michael Keaton, and Catherine O’Hara will be reprising their roles along with the introduction of Lydia’s daughter played by Jenna Ortega. Though Alec Baldwin and Geena Davis are not returning to Winter River for the sequel, hopefully, there is some mention of the two and their relationship with Lydia. Beetlejuice Beetlejuice will be in theaters everywhere on September 6, 2024.

Who Else Can We Get?

There are tons of potential when it comes to the roster, and with Beetlejuice joining Multiversus it just adds even more possibilities! With some of the most iconic characters being in the roster already from the likes of Superman and Finn from Adventure Time to Jason from Friday the 13th, there are obviously tons of other DC or Cartoon Network characters that would be interesting to see.

I mean who knows? Townsville is already a stage in the game, so can we expect a Powerpuff Girl fighter combo similar to Pokemon Trainer in the Smash Bros. series? What about other iconic villains? Can we expect Pennywise to float his way into Multiversus? What about more Adventure Time characters? Only time will tell!
