Marvel Rivals have released new patch notes! This Steam game has had overwhelmingly positive reviews since its release in December 2024, but that doesn’t stop its players from finding problems with the game mechanics. Several issues appeared over the last few months that caused concern for the players. These recent patch notes seek to rectify some of those issues to make the game more player-friendly, amping up the awesome gameplay and allowing for a more enjoyable experience for all players. There’s even a sweet gift for some players.
Marvel Rivals Patch Notes Update
The patch is set to release on early March 27, 2025, at 9:00, so it will be released very soon! For all those who collected all achievements in Galatica’s Cosmic Adventure, the devs have prepared a nice little April Fool’s Easter Egg gift that you can collect between April 1st and April 4th. So, hopefully, you’ve collected everything you need to enjoy this nice gift (unless it’s a trick from Loki). So, get in there and get those achievements! It might be new lore or a new skin in there! Completionists Assemble!
Marvel Rivals devs have also teased a new Pick-Up bundle in this update. No details yet, but it looks like we can look forward to content drops more often to keep things fresh and the players coming back for more. They want you hooked, and they know exactly how to do it. Marvel Rivals has already garnered millions of players, and the developers are committed to improving the game.
Gameplay Fixes Worth Noting
- Custom Game Stability: devs fixed that weird bug where disconnected players showed up on the Like page after a match.
- Terrain & Map Fixes: Finally! No more game rage because your character got stuck in that weird corner (like how did you even DO that!). Plus (or negative), Rocket Raccoon’s little revive exploit outside the Hydra Charteris Base has been curb-stomped. Marval Rival devs pulled through again!
- Hero-Specific Fixes:
- Hulk no longer freaks out when Wolverine does his Feral Leap
- Iron Fist has no more beef with the Practice Room walls
- Iron Man’s Hyper-Velocity stays optimal when using portals in Sactum Sanctorum.
- Plus several more fixes coming to Marvel Rivals
Final Thoughts
Marvel Rival devs have created a tidy little update for us to enjoy. Fun seasonal content, a surprise gift for your completionist soul, and a bunch of fixes that have been bugging players for a while. The devs are listening, fellow gamers! So, this might be a good time to dive back into the action!
