Black Myth: Wukong was released on 20 August 2024 as a brand-new Action RPG and it took the internet by storm. It is based on the popular classic Chinese novel called “Journey to the West” and it follows the story of Sun Wukong. It is an amazing RPG that provides players with a lot of customization options and types of equipment. This article will go over every Relic in the game as well as the benefits they provide.
Relic Overview
Relic is a piece of equipment in Black Myth: Wukong that provides the players with passive bonuses when equipped. They greatly improve on the buildcrafting options in the game. Each Relic provides three intrinsic bonuses that can be customized through the Relics tab in the customization menu. There are five Relics that players can obtain throughout their journey. It is important to note that where each relic provides three perks only one can be activated at a time.
Craving Eyes
This Relic comes with the following three abilities and can be obtained by defeating the first chapter of Black Myth: Wukong.
- Opportune Watcher: Successful light attacks increase the focus gain of the players.
- Eagle Eye: A hit with the Unveiling strike ability massively decreases the cooldown of that ability.
- Keen Insight: This ability increases the critical hit damage.
Envious Tongue
This Relic comes with the following three abilities and is obtained after completing Chapter 4 of Black Myth: Wukong.
- Refreshing Taste: Players get a chance to score a critical hit after healing.
- Spread the Word: The Immobilize enemy also affects the enemies around the targets.
- Tongue of a Connoisseur: Soaks that a player has equipped increase the health regeneration of the player.
Fuming Ears
This Relic comes with the following three abilities and is obtained after completing Chapter 2.
- All Ears: The first move of all varied combos extends the invincibility duration.
- Sound as a Bell: Returns half the mana consumed of a spell when using deflection but it is harder to perform.
- Whistling Wind: A perfect dodge increases the damage of the player’s attacks.
Grieved Body
This Relic comes with the following three abilities:
- Nimble Body: All charged heavy attacks consume less stamina.
- Everlasting Vitality: The maximum health of the player is greatly increased.
- Divine Safeguard: Four Bane resistance is massively increased.
Hubris Nose
This Relic comes with the following three abilities and is obtained after completing Chapter 3 of Black Myth: Wukong.
- Lingering Aroma: Casting a spell provides a duration of increased damage.
- In One Breath: Focus Points can be charged to the capacity of 4 when in the Ring of Fire.
- Hold Breath: Dodge invincibility duration is increased, providing players with more immunity window when dodging.
