The Jet Gun is the primary Wonder Weapon on Liberty Falls, one of the three maps available in Black Ops 6 zombies. The Thrustodyne M23 is its official name, and it’s been featured in several previous Black Ops Zombies maps. It first appeared in Black Ops 2‘s Tranzit map. Here’s how you can get the latest iteration of it.
How to Get the Jet Gun
Open the Crafting Room
The first step in Black Ops 6 on Liberty Falls is to head to the first barrier directly in front of spawn. Ignore the barrier and head up the stairs and down the walkway. A door is going to burst open with a few zombies, so be prepared to kill them.
Once you get past the door and trigger the opening, jump down. The zombies will come a lot faster than a normal round one, and it’s better to be in the open. Once you have points, open that front barrier and enter the bowling alley. On the right side of the alley, there’s a plaque on the wall. Melee this and knock the cover off before leaving the bowling alley.
Turn on the Water Pressure
Head to section E4 on your tactical map and find Lilly’s Flowerpot. In front of this store, there’s a water pump. Interact with it to take the water water valve, one of the three items you need. Head back to the bowling alley, Liberty Lanes, and interact with the plaque you opened up. When you start turning the valve, waves of zombies do spawn.
It’s best to do this with a teammate, but it can be done solo. If I can do it, so can you. It may help to use 1,000 salvage to craft a monkey bomb to distract them. Decoys work, too, but not to the same extent. You can take breaks to kill the zombies, but too long a break will force you to start all over. Collect the gauge once this step is done.
Get the Handbrake
To get the handbrake, you need to get the toolshed key from a special zombie that spawns only in the graveyard next to the church. This doesn’t happen every round, but this Groundskeeper Zombie will drop the key. Head to the Groundskeeper’s Yard in section D4 on your map and open the door. Pick up the handbrake inside and leave.
Electrical Wires
The next step requires a Mangler Cannon, so you can either craft one with 1,250 salvage (as long as you’re rank 20) or wait until round 11. This zombie spawns then and is harder to kill. Aim at his arm gun when he’s powering up and it will break it off. You can kill it and pick up the Mangler Cannon if you’re lucky. There’s a bit of RNG with the drop on this step. Head over to R3 on your map and use the Cannon to blast through the door of the Radio House Electronics Superstore. Interact with some piles (beware of some pop-up zombies) and find the wires.
Craft the Jet Gun for Black Ops 6
Once you have all three pieces in your inventory, head back to the motel room from step one. Inside, there’s a crafting table. Make sure you’re either protected or have only left a few stragglers for this step so you’re not caught in there where there is limited escapability. Interact to craft the Thrustodyne M23, aka the Jet Gun, and then pick it up. Be warned that this takes up one of your two inventory slots unless you’re lucky enough to have the Mule Kick perk from the Der Wunderfizz machine after Round 25.
Don’t Forget!
The steps to making the Jet Gun on Liberty Falls aren’t that convoluted, but some of it is pretty dangerous. Keep a few things in mind while trying to build it in Black Ops 6. Always buy the armor upgrades. This will particularly save you on the water valve step. Pack-A-Punch one of your weapons. Craft the monkey, too. If you do those things, you should have no trouble surviving and getting the Jet Gun. Oh, and it can be Pack-A-Punched, too!
