We will go through all the new features and tactics to have a successful career for your player. A feature that was in NCAA 14 and left out of College Football 25 is having your player start in High School, this is one of the only negatives in Road To Glory in College Football 25. Replacing the feature of starting in High School players can decide whether to start at four different levels of overall ratings.

The first two options are Elite and Blue Chip, Elite is essentially a 5-star recruit and you start at 79 overall. Blue Chip is a 4-star recruit starting at 75 overall, if you start on these levels you will likely be able to get a starting job on most teams. The bottom two levels are Contributor and Underdog, Contributor is a 3-star recruit starting at 67 overall and Underdog is a 2-star recruit starting at 60 overall. For players wanting a challenge this is the way to choose but you will likely not start your first year.

Big changes come in the form of the transfer portal and academics being added to the game. NIL deals have changed the transfer portal forever and the player has the option to enter the portal in Road To Glory after every year. A weekly agenda is now included in the game mode, with the ability to choose between 5 different options.

The player can focus on improving their brand, health, or leadership abilities. As stated before you can choose to study in your free time and the player has to maintain a 2.0 GPA or be listed as ineligible for the next game. The last option is the choice to train which is something that is expected to be in the game.

Conclusion

Road To Glory has many great features added in College Football 25, NIL deals, and having to decide between different scenarios adds to the realistic immersion of the game. Mental and physical abilities as well as wear and tear on your created player add complexity to how your player may perform in certain game time situations.

A long overdue and important feature that makes Road To Glory even more in-depth is being able to transfer your player to Madden 25 after your college career is over. For fans who want to feel like they’re on the team Road To Glory is a must-play game mode with more improvements bound to come.
