Destiny 2: Aberrant Action God Roll Guide

destiny 2 aberrant action

Destiny 2 The Final Shape was released with the first-ever episodic content. This first Episode is called Echoes and it brought with itself a collection of brand-new amazing weapons and armor pieces. Echoes also brought back weapons from Season of the Dawn this time with a new Origin Trait as well as refreshed perk options. Aberrant Action is probably the best weapon to come from these newly released weapons and it comes with the Origin Trait ‘Radiolaria Transposer’. Upon getting Multikills with the weapons having this Origin Trait, it drops a white pool of damaging fluid that further damages any enemy that steps into it.

Aberrant Action is a Rocket-Assisted frame Solar Sidearm. It is the first Solar Sidearm of this archetype. This archetype is extremely popular in PvE, with some considering the weapons of this class to be the best to ever exist in PvE. Unfortunately, these weapons do not perform well in The Crucible at all and are rarely ever used.

This weapon comes with a total of 14 perk options with 7 perks in the left column and 7 perks in the right. In the left column, we have perk options of Heal Clip, Ambitious Assassin, Threat Detector, Beacon Rounds, Field Prep, Pugilist, and Strategist. In the right column, the perk options available are Incandescent, Reverberation, Swashbuckler, Demolitionist, Golden Tricorn, Harmony, and Snapshot Sights.

Solar Subclass Synergy

Aberrant Action is highly synergistic with the Solar subclass of Hunters, Warlocks, and Titans. It has some perk options that greatly benefit the Aspects and Fragments present across all three Solar subclasses. In the left column of perks, Heal Clip is a Solar synergistic perk. Heal Clip allows that when you reload after scoring a kill with the weapon, you and nearby allies get Cure which is extremely good for survivability.

In the right column of perks, Incandescent exists which is one of the best perks in all of Destiny 2. Incandescent allows that when you kill an enemy combatant it causes an explosion that Scorches nearby enemies. Upon enough Scorch stacks, it can cause an Ignition which just deals massive damage. This roll is the ultimate Solar God Roll that provides both survivability and crowd control.

Aberrant Action PvE God Roll

For Aberrant Action, we want magazine and barrel options that increase the Velocity of the projectiles as well as increase the Reload Speed of the weapon. Hard Launch is the best Barrel option for this purpose combined with High-Velocity Rounds as the magazine option. Players can go with either a Reload Speed or a Velocity masterwork. Looking at the perks, if the players are not going for a fully synergistic Solar weapon, there are two options in the left column.

Pugilist and Strategist both are good perk options in the left column and both give ability energy. Pugilist provides Melee ability energy whereas Strategist provides Class ability energy, so depending on the player’s preference they can go with either option. In the right column, we have the choice between Incandescent and Demolitionist. Incandescent with or without Solar synergy is an extremely good crowd control perk. Demolitionist works similarly to Pugilist and Strategist as it also provides Grenade energy when securing kills. So, players can go the route of more abilities with Demolitionist or the route of crowd control with Incandescent in the right column.
