Destiny 2 released its summer event, Solstice in The Final Shape. The Solstice event launched with three returning weapons, one brand-new weapon, and a new armor set for Hunters, Warlocks, and Titans. These weapons are exclusive to the event and can only be obtained when the event is around. These weapons have something going for them as they have some great perk combinations and Origin Trait options. All these weapons have perks that are highly synergistic with their respective affinity subclasses and decent general perk combinations as well.
Crowning Duologue Overview
Crowning Duologue is a Precision Frame Rocket Launcher that has Strand affinity. It is one of the few Rocket Launchers that have Strand affinity and it has some insane perk combinations. It also comes with two Origin Traits. Dream Work is a Solstice exclusive Origin Trait that allows assists or assisted final blows to fill the weapon’s magazines from reserves potentially overflowing them. It also boosts the weapon’s Reload Speed. It also comes with another Origin Trait Hakke Breach Armament.
It comes with 14 perk options with 7 perks in the left column and 7 perks in the right. In the left column, it has the perk options Impulse Amplifier, Auto-Loading Holster, Reconstruction, Hatchling, Demolitionist, Air Trigger, and Grave Robber. In the right column, the available options are Envious Assassin, Bait and Switch, Bipod, Chain Reaction, Cluster Bomb, Deconstruct, and Reverberation.
Crowing Duologue PvE God Roll
For PvE, we have to boost the Reload Speed as high as possible. For this purpose, players can use a Reload Speed masterwork. For Magazine options players must use Impact Casing as it increases the damage of our Rocket Launchers by 2.2 percent. For Barrels, we can go with any option that decreases the Blast Radius as well as increases the velocity of our Rocket projectiles. Now for the right and left column perks players have some amazing options.
We want perk options that increase the damage of our Rocket as well as provide us extra Rocket Launcher shots or increase our Reload Speed so that our overall DPS is increased. For increasing our total shots in the mag, Reconstruction is the best perk in the left column, as it slowly reloads the magazine up to twice its capacity. This means that with Reconstruction, the Magazine of our Rocket Launcher can be auto-reloaded to 2. This will allow you to fire two shots without reloading. Air Trigger is the best perk option for increasing our Reload Speed but it will require you to Reload while you jump in the air, which can be annoying in some scenarios.
In the right column, we have only one damage-boosting perk called Bait and Switch. Bait and Switch is one of the best damage boosting perk for Heavy weapons. It provides a 35 percent damage boost when you cause damage with every weapon you have equipped. After that, you will have Bait and Switch active for 10 seconds. This combined with Reconstruction or Air Trigger in the left column, makes it one of the best Rocket Launchers for DPS purposes.
Conclusion
Crowning Duologue is an amazing Strand Precision Frame Rocket that is capable of dealing with amazing DPS. The roll of Reconstruction paired with Bait and Switch makes for the best perk combination for a Rocket. This roll also pairs extremely well with the Origin Trait Dream Work and is a must-have for any Guardian.
